There are many things Angela loves about being married to a trust fund baby. She loves receiving expensive gifts, going out to fancy restaurants, and having a good future secured for their kids. One thing she absolutely does not love, however, are the snobby galas Wesley’s mom seems to throw once every six months like clockwork. And of course, Wesley is expected to attend these galas which means Angela comes along more often than not.
Today, however, the pretty red dress she is wearing is digging into all the wrong places and her heels are aggravating the sharp ache in her feet. Not to mention that tonight is the first night in a while that she and Wesley have managed to secure a babysitter, and to her dismay, it is being wasted on this event. Angela longs for her comfortable bed, takeout for dinner, and some special attention from her husband.
