Chapter Text
There is a place deep in the forest where the trees do not whisper.
Where the air hangs still, choked with silence, and the soil remembers every scream.
Long ago — though time does not flow the same in cursed places — a girl vanished here.
Not by accident.
Not by fate.
But by the hands of blood that once called her beloved.
They say she was the sun. A prodigy. A miracle born beneath a crimson moon.
The kind of child who drew both worship and fear.
The kind of child who should not have existed — especially not in two.
She was not alone when she came into the world.
There was another.
A boy with eyes like starlight reflected in still water.
Her mirror. Her tether.
Her twin.
They were born with a bond older than time — threads spun by the Goddess of Fate herself, so tightly wound that when one hurt, the other bled.
When one laughed, the other wept.
And when one vanished, the other began to die.
Now, no sunlight touches that place. No warmth remains.
There are rumors, of course.
Of a mansion buried in snow, once filled with laughter and lies.
Of a brother who wandered into the woods and returned a stranger.
And of the girl… who did not return at all.
Some say she died there, taken by a witch’s curse.
Others claim her soul split in two — one half trapped, one half left behind.
And some say she walks still,
pale as death,
voice laced with storm,
eyes haunted by a name she can no longer say aloud —
Yoojin.
The missing half.
The ache beneath her ribs.
The twin flame that was snuffed out… too soon.
No one knows the full truth.
But the ashes remember.
And the wind carries her name like a curse through Eldros and beyond.
Yoona.
The girl who was sacrificed.
The Saintess born of shadows.
The monster they created.
And now… she remembers, too.
