Chapter Text
Y/N burst into the common room, her arms full of snacks, drinks, and a curious old enchanted video projector. The room fell silent for a moment as her friends stared at her, a mix of confusion and skepticism painting their faces.
"Alright, everyone! Tonight’s entertainment is Epic: The Musical! Muggle style, of course!" Y/N announced with a wide grin, setting everything down on the table.
"Wait, what now?" Mattheo Riddle, her boyfriend, raised an eyebrow, leaning against the arm of the couch.
"Epic: The Musical," she repeated, setting up the projector. "I thought you’d all love it! It’s... a bit chaotic, but trust me, it’s going to be fun."
"Do you mean to tell me we're watching a Muggle musical? Are we sure this is a good idea?" Blaise Zabini’s voice dripped with skepticism as he crossed his arms. "What next, reality television?"
"It’s cool, trust me." Y/N said with a playful roll of her eyes, pressing the enchanted projector’s button. The room’s lighting dimmed, and the musical started, but not before a flurry of reactions from her friends.
Draco Malfoy, who had been lounging on one of the armchairs with Astoria Greengrass by his side, narrowed his eyes at the screen. “So, what exactly makes this… epic?” He looked over to Y/N with a mixture of curiosity and disbelief. "This isn’t some form of Muggle propaganda, is it?"
"Don’t be a snob, Draco," Astoria interjected, resting her chin on her hand. "It could be entertaining. I’m in." She looked over at Pansy, who had already poured herself a drink, clearly skeptical.
Pansy huffed, rolling her eyes. “Muggles and their ridiculousness,” she muttered. "I suppose we’re about to be treated to nonsense, aren’t we?"
Lorenzo Blaise, sitting lazily on the other couch, glanced at the screen and raised an eyebrow. "Alright, I’ll admit, I’m curious... just a little. But if it’s terrible, I’m blaming you, Y/N."
And just like that, Y/N sat down next to Mattheo who naturally threw his arm around her shoulder, pulling her to rest on his chest, and she pressed play.
