   Summary

   The Marriage Law. Something which was introduced to keep the wizarding population afloat after the second war. Something which would change the lives of all those involved.

   The process was simple. The ministry assigned everyone from the ages 17-25 a soulmate. They would move in together immediately and be married within 6 weeks. They must then be expecting within a year.

   Everyone assumed Hermione would be paired with Ron Weasley. They were perfect together, how could they not be soulmates. Unless they weren’t?
