Isagi, Hiori, Kurona and the other players from Blue Lock are eating in the cafeteria. It’s their normal routine, but there's something not normal with how Isagi is acting today.
“Stop staring at Kaiser with heart eyes and everything you weirdo”Hiori snorts
“Shut up Hiori I don’t even like Kaiser” Isagi says, clearly pissed off. Hiori finds it funny like a true sadist
“Then why do you keep staring his way? You’ve been doing this since…2 weeks ago ago” Kurona says.
“Well I uh..” Isagi doesn’t have an answer to that. Well maybe he does, he’s just too embarrassed to admit that he’s been staring at a certain magenta-eyed midfielder. It's not his fault Ness is very pretty. He looks like an angel even, the way he sits upright, delicately picking up the food with his spoon before placing it in his mouth. Not to mention the way his thighs look when..
“Hello?? Earth to Isagi??” Yukimiya says waving his hand in front of isagi’s face.
Isagi blushes slightly. He was too busy daydreaming about his stupid crush on Ness. “I'm such a loser” he thinks to himself
“Ew. What a simp. Didn’t think you’d have a crush on Kaiser of all people” Hiori says.
“SHUT UP GUYS I DON’T EVEN LIKE HIM” Isagi yells. Everyone in the cafeteria looks at Isagi for a brief second, including Ness and Kaiser.
Isagi’s face heats up due to the embarrassment.
Hiori starts laughing again and Isagi wants to punch him really badly.
“The fuck is he yelling about” Kaiser says
“Nothing important that's for sure” Ness replies
“I heard my name though” Kaiser says nonchalantly
“Maybe it's because he likes you” Ness whispers quietly
“What did you say? I couldn’t catch that” Kaiser asks
“I uh..it's because he’s a loser” Ness grumbles
“Of course Yoichi is.” Kaiser laughs. Ness laughs along with him.
“Want to practice with me Kaiser?” Ness asks
“Later Ness, im busy learning how to beat Yoichi” Kaiser says, looking at game highlights of Isagi
“If you like him just confess already” Ness mumbles as he looks down
“What?” Kaiser asks
“Ah, it’s nothing. I’ll go practice by myself” Ness says and walks away. He knows Kaiser likes Isagi. No matter how much he tries, he knows Kaiser won’t like him back. He thinks that Isagi will make Kaiser happier. Ness doesn’t mind as long as Kaiser is happy.
As Ness was heading to the field to practice, he bumps into Isagi.
“Ness? What are you doing here?” Isagi says. He can feel his stomach toss and turn by how close he and Ness were.
“I’m here to practice” Ness says dryly
“Well if you’re free uh I mean if you want I could practice with you. I also came here to do the same thing” Isagi says, his voice struggling to come out. It’s not his fault a really pretty guy is in front of him.
“Sure” Ness says. Maybe if he learns more about Isagi then he could help him get with Kaiser.
Isagi’s heart jumps after hearing the positive response. It’s not his fault though. It’s not like you get to practice with your crush everyday.
“You need to time yourself a little more. You’re late by a few seconds. That’s why” Ness points out.
“Uh huh” Isagi says. He in fact only listened to 20% of what Ness was saying. He was too busy staring at his magenta-eyes and how focused they were.
After practice, Isagi and Ness walk out of the field. Ness was rambling on about more football techniques when isagi trips. Ness grabs Isagi’s hand to stop him from falling. Isagi thinks he might explode from this.
“Are you okay?” Ness asks, letting his hand go
“m’fine” Isagi says before running away. He hopes Ness didn’t see his face turn red
