Chapter Text
It was the end of the day. House and his team had solved their case and they were all beginning to head out.
Cameron stood up frantically searching her pockets clearly frustrated.
“Shit” she cursed under her breath.
House who was wiping off the white board noticed Cameron frantically searching for something.
“Unprepared for Aunt Flow’s arrival?”
“What?”
House rolled his eyes and walked into his office motioning for Cameron to follow him. He opened a drawer in his desk and pulled out a tampon, handing it to Cameron.
“Um. thanks…”
Cameron stood holding the tampon confused.
“You might want to hurry before Aunt Flow ruins the carpet.”
Snapping out of it Cameron turns to leave. As she heads out she stops at the door.
“House? Why do you have tampons in your desk?”
“What can I say.. Chicks dig feminist”
“Right..Thank you.”
Cameron leaves his office for the night leaving House alone.

The next day Chase, Foreman, and Cameron are running tests for a case. Cameron still thinking about the night before.
“Does House strike you as the feminist type?”
Chase shoots Cameron a confused look while Foreman chuckles.
“Sure, about as feminist as they come, a true champion of women's rights.”
“Maybe he cares a little more than we think.”
“Yeah right.” Chase retorts
“He had tampons in his desk, the only female staff he interacts with on the regular are me and Cuddy. The only reason he would have tampons is if he cared about the women in his life just a little.”
“Or maybe he's trans.” Chase says nonchalantly not looking up from what he was doing. No one says anything as the three stop to genuinely think of the possibility House could be trans.
“Oh my god, maybe he is…” Cameron blurts out.
“No chance.” Foreman argues
Chase looks up at Foreman, “Wanna make a bet. 20 bucks says our boss is secretly a girl”
Foreman smirks, “Make it 50.”
“50 it is.” The two shake hands and Cameron rolls her eyes.
“You wanna get in on this?” Foreman asks
“Fine…” Cameron relents.

“Why are you all staring at me like that?”
“No reason”
The three doctors tried everything they could to get some kind of hint that might lead to finding out if House was trans. But if there was one thing Gregory House was good at, it was keeping his private life to himself. If they wanted to figure this out they would have to work hard to get any kind of answer from House.

“What if we ask Wilson or even Cuddy? They’ve known House the longest. Maybe if we get them to talk about their history with House they’ll let something slip.” Cameron preposed. They had exhausted pretty much everything else they could and House was not doing them any favors.
“I’ll talk to Wilson, Foreman talk to Cuddy, and Chase try to get something out of House.”
The two nod and they all go their separate ways to their assigned person.
