Chapter Text
Dream sans was currently being babysat by Sci, or Science sans.
Error was busy dealing with something about the creators, the Bad Sanses were on a mission, and Nightmare had to go help them, which meant Sci was the only one available.
Sci was fine with it, the little squirt was a pretty adorable kid, and fine to deal with when he wasn't hyped up with sweets.
It was pretty normal the first few hours, Dream just sat around, playing with toys and watching movies, allowing Sci to relax a little.
But it was very quickly shattered when Dream had come bounding up the stairs from the basement, screaming that someone was injured.
Sci had panicked, no one else was supposed to be here, but whoever it is hadn't attacked Dream, so either they were critically injured, or they weren't a threat.
Sci followed the little skeleton into the basement, the both of them running as fast as they would go, Dream only stopping at the other end of the basement, the dead end.
There were a bunch of old crates and boxes stacked around the room, definitely used as a storage space for the things the group didn't want.
Sci peaked over the box that the little guy was pointing to, only to spot a horrifying sight.
It was Dream. Another version of him, from a different multiverse entirely.
And he was injured.
His left eye socket was closed, with golden blood dripping down from it, the blood blending with the golden tears that also spilled.
The boy's good eye only showed terror, his eye light shrunk to a pin prick.
He was breathing heavily, sharply, gripping onto his shirt for dear life.
He looked a mess, with torn, dirtied clothing, trinkets missing, and his crown, cracked and rusted, sitting lopsided on his head.
The boy shook and trembled, he clearly hadn't eaten or drank in a while, and his eye didn't seem to be the only thing injured.
Sci stood with his mouth agape.
Oh boy. This is gonna be a handful.
