“Drago Bludvist? “ Spitelout looked nervous just saying that name. “Son, I think it would be best if you all stay here. Drago Bludvist is a dangerous man who has no morals or mercy. And if he's building a dragon army, this won't end well for anyone. Not even for you and your people.” Stoick's words made Hiccup worry. Just who was Drago? And why did they react like that? “So what? I'm just supposed to hide here while dragons are potentially getting killed and enslaved? Absolutely not.” Hiccup shook his head.

“Hiccup. I know this is hard. But there's only so much we can do.” Spitelout tried explaining to Hiccup, but Hiccup wasn't having any of it. “Then we just kill Drago. Easy as that. You said he was dangerous, right? Then let's fucking kill that son of a bitch.” Hiccup snarled.

It was very weird and unsettling for the three of them to hear Hiccup saying those kinds of things because in the past, Hiccup had always just wanted to be good. Now, Hiccup had learned his lesson after the incident with the Red Death. He knew that killing is a necessary evil, and fighting that monster of a “Queen” and the Grimborn brothers had taught him that.

    Summary

An AU where Hiccup becomes a dragon at the end of the Race to the Edge series!

Aside from the fic Soul of a Dragon being the prologue of sorts, all other stories in this series are unconnected unless otherwise noted, as I wanted to write different versions of dragon-Hiccup returning to Berk.

    Summary

Rain battered his face, soaking his feathers and weighing him down. His wings ached just from the effort it took to keep him in the air. His eyes stung, forcing him to keep them squinted. He had to keep going, he couldn’t stop. If he stopped, he would be dead. He didn’t want to die, not now anyways. He couldn’t die. Not when he couldn’t remember the last time his mom told him she loved him. Not when he couldn’t recall what it felt like to be held by another person. Not when Kacchan would think that it's his own fault. Izuku just couldn’t do that. He wanted to live. He wanted to fly.

His head cocked towards the side when he heard the low wooshing sound of something hurdling towards the air, straight towards him. His reflexes weren’t fast enough. That’s what he gets for panicking. He lets out an angered screech as the net wraps around him. And suddenly he’s falling. He struggles hard, gripped at the rope with his beak and talons, furiously flapping his wings. It's no use though. The ground catches him.
