Lloyd fell asleep on the couch with his family.
Today had been rather tiring. Some criminals in Kryptarium broke loose again and they had to catch every single one of them. Guess who was the hardest to catch? Fucking Fugi Dove. Why was he even in Kryptarium? I don’t think even the guards know.
Long story short everyone was exhausted and decided they should have a well deserved tv night. The first hour or two had been chaotic. Shouting, throwing with popcorn, Jay ranting about staffer and Lloyd then joining him and fueling his rant purely to get under everyone’s skin. Aka the usual.
When the first person (Cole) fell asleep everyone decided to shut up and watch the movie. Slowly everyone else followed.
And now it was the middle of the night. Lloyd was cuddling with Kai and Nya under a blanket. Peaceful with a care in the world.
Then the a small light woke him up. I squeezed his eyes shut, trying to shut out the light and go back to sleep but it didn’t work. I let out a small groan, trying his best not to wake up anyone else.
he slowly pulled away the blanket, tucking it in under Kai who he was just laying next too.
Lloyd made his way over the puddle of his family and towards the light. Apparently the light came from the kitchen. Who would be up and about at this hour?
Then he heard the door open and without any reason he duck away, behind a plant. Why did he hide? He had no idea. Just in case there was an intruder he supposed? Maybe behind the plant wasn’t very smart..
But to his surprise it was master Wu. Lloyd figured he just got up to get some tea. The older master often got tea in the middle of the night for various reasons. Reasons he was too tired to name.
After master Wu left again Lloyd was about to get back to back, aka the couch, until he noticed his master left the lights on. Huh. He must’ve been really tired then because master Wu never leaves the lights on.
Lloyd entered the kitchen and was about to turn the lights of until he spot a strange box. Curious as he is he walked over and opened it.
It was nothing more than just tea. He wanted, no should’ve, probably closed it but curiosity took over him. It wasn’t like any other tea he has seen before. It looked gold, which wasn’t that strange for tea, and smelled weird.
Lloyd had a rather excellent nose. Probably due to the oni and dragon genes in his blood, he smelled like camomile. Which could be useful considering he was wide awake now.
Lloyd examined it a little further before shrugging it off and turning on the tea pot. What could go wrong? If it’s in the kitchen it must be safe to drink, he figured.
After the tea was set and cooled off enough to not burn your tongue he took a sip.
At first nothing happened but before one could say First Spinjitzu Master the floor beneath him disappeared.
Lloyd dropped his cup along the way and let out a scream as he began falling. He was falling for a long minutes before landing an a not so soft ground. I groaned and sat up, rubbing his head he scanned the area.
That was weird? It looked like a cabins on the bounty. Which was strange because he could’ve sworn he was just in the monastery.
Before he had any time to collect himself the door flew open and someone pointed a katana at him.
Lloyd crawled back before his back hit a fall and looked up at the person, slight fear in his eyes.
Lloyd almost gasped out loud at the person who was infront of him.
”Kai? What are you doing— stop pointing your katana at me!” Lloyd demanded.
Kai raised an eyebrows and glared at Lloyd. Why was he glaring at him? Kai hasn’t done that for years. The last time was somewhere before the volcano incident.
”So I can lower my guard for you to pounce me and knock me out? No chance! Tell me how you’re here and where Harumi is.” Kai growled. Lloyd almost got a shiver from how cold Kai’s voice was towards him.
”Harumi? In prison I hope! Why do you care about her?” Lloyd placed down his hands and pushed himself up. “Kai put down the katana and let’s talk about this, please..” Lloyd almost pleaded. He shouldn’t have to plea to his brother!
Kai eyed him up and down and somehow he looked more puzzled than before. “Did you just say ‘please’? Dude what’s wrong with you? Are you high or something?”
Now it was Lloyd’s turned to look puzzled. High? No ofcourse not. “High? No? What’s wrong with saying please? Sounds to me like a normal human thing to say.”
”yeah but you’re not normal nor human.” Kai bit. And oh wow something snapped in Lloyd’s head right there. Did Kai just say he wasn’t human? Ofcourse he knew he wasn’t human but Kai nor anyone else ever called him out for that. And did he just call him weird? This must be a nightmare.
Lloyd placed a hand on his head. “Okay, I think the joke is over. Where’s everyone else? I’m really tired after the breakout from Kryptarium prison today and I’d like to get back to sleep.”
Then Kai’s face cheered up, like Lloyd just confessed to stealing his secret stash of candy and that he finally gotten the proof he needed to rat him out to Master Wu.
”ha! You just confessed that you broke it from Kryptarium!” Kai said. Lloyd was pretty sure Kai heard the gears in his head twist.
”what are you talking about? Everyone helped with the breakout. Don’t you remember? The commissioner called us this morning to tell us about the breakout. We’ve spent the whole day looking for Fugi dove.”
That was the last straw for Kai and he pounced Lloyd.
Lloyd let out a yelp and rolled away. He turned around the saw Kai charging at him. His eyes widened and he got up on his feet and stormed out of the room. He crashed against the wall in the hallway and run towards deck.
Once he arrived on the deck he was met with everyone else who were apparently training.
”guys help! Kai’s gone mad.” Lloyd almost screamed as he glanced around in a hurry, trying to see if Kai caught up yet.
When he focused his attention back the everyone else has was met with various weapons pointing at him from all around. Then he heard foot stomps which meant Kai has arrived too. Lloyd faced the other members. “What’s going on? Why does everyone want to kill me?” Lloyd asked.
Almost immediately Kai spoke. “Don’t listen to him! Just now he said that he went on a mission with us.” The others shot confused glares at Lloyd and Lloyd just wanted to scream.
”Can anyone please tell my why that’s so weird?” Lloyd pleaded.
Zane moved his bow aside although he was still threatening Lloyd with it. “Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon you’re a fugitive of the law and Ninjago’s number one criminal. State your business on the bounty.” Kai whispered something into Zane’s ear. “And tell us where you’re keeping the green ninja Harumi Jade.”
That was where the world began spinning. Lloyd began to feel lightheaded. “Harumi is.. the green ninja?” That was all he could get out of his mouth before he fell down to the ground, fainting on the spot.

When Lloyd woke up again he was on a bed. He turned aside and was preparing to be met with Zane or P.I.X.A.L. but was met with his uncle instead.
Lloyd sat up immediately and Wu glanced up from his puzzle book. Had he been waiting for him to wake up?
”Master Wu? What’s happening?” Lloyd asked as he began rubbing his head and glancing around the room. “And why is everyone acting so weird?”
Master Wu placed down his puzzle book and picked up a cup of tea. “The true question is: why are you acting so weird, Lloyd? It is very unlike you.”
Lloyd was left puzzled and Master Wu continued. “What’s the last thing you remember before Kai came into the sleeping quarters?”
Lloyd thought long and hard before answering. “We were having a movie night before everyone fell asleep. Somewhere in the middle of the night I woke up due to light from the kitchen and then you walked out. I was about to turn the light off until I saw a tiny tea box on the counter. I drank it and the floor disappeared. The next thing I knew I woke up on the bounty with Kai threatening me.” Lloyd explained calmly.
Wu hummed and crossed his arms. “You’ve drank a tea that switches universes with a random one. That tea was supposed to be burned but apparently I forgot.” Wu said bluntly. “In this universe Harumi is the green ninja and you’re the ninja number 1 enemy. I assume you’re the green ninja in your universe?” Wu asked, pointing at Lloyd’s green gi.
Lloyd looked down and took a moment to process all of this. A universe where Harumi is the green ninja and where he is the bad guy? This was wild.
”Do you know a way back? To my own universe?” Lloyd asked.
”I may have an idea but it may take a while. Plus I must travel somewhere far which means you’ll have to live here with the ninja until I’m back.” Wu said. Lloyd didn’t even try his best to hold back his groan before flopping back into bed. This is going to give him a headache for sure.
