Work Text:
The kid in the picture frame,
Such a brighter smile you've ever saw,
People cheered for this little boy for such talent
Such precision of a swing and with the multiple home runs,
The parents are jealous that they weren't have him as their own.
Later on he gotten more trophies, more achievement
He couldn't count how many he has.
Now those are left on the shelves,
Collecting dust all over.
If this kid have known this, he would not be able to handle it.
"Why? I thought they'd care about these trophies! They would smile at those and will clean it for me!",
He say that in such unbearable frustration.
In adult life that doesn't longer define you anymore.
Your credit score, your manager, even your ex-fiancée,
They do not care.
Just like a melted wax candle, they thrown it away after it was used.
Then later he thought he had finally met someone who seen the real him,
A normal kid who have no close friends and want to actually have a connection,
Has finally left him to dust too.
Ah, perhaps, I don't really deserved to have a real love after all.
