    "You didn't step in just for my sake, did you?" As unconventional as his savior was, Yuji knew better than to trust him implicitly. There had to be another reason for his interference. Even if that reason was nothing more than a whim, it made more sense than the King of Curses stepping in and sparing Yuji's life out of the goodness of whatever passed as a heart within his chest.

    "No." The King of Curses crossed his lower set of arms while a hand made gestures to coincide with his reasoning. "The commotion was bothersome. I did not anticipate crossing paths with a funeral procession on a road this remote."
