Summary
“It wasn’t a joke,” Donghyuck admits, the tone of his voice suddenly lowering with seriousness. “And that’s the problem.”
Jaehyun tilts his head to the side, but doesn’t speak; he just looks at Donghyuck, waiting and understanding, sensing that there’s something else Donghyuck wants to say -- something that’s on the verge of coming loose, hanging on his lips and dangling by a thread.
“I--I don’t even know where it came from,” Donghyuck quietly says, hushed and slightly shaky.
