Pandora’s POV:
Lily’s sat on my bathroom floor, her soft red hair half-braided with small flowers of her namesake braided into it. I work slowly, making the other side match. She watches in the full-length mirror that’s hung on the back of my bathroom door, her thin fingers tracing the moss and lights that I’ve decorated the edges with.
“Your room is like a forest, Panda.”she says.
“I’ve always liked it that way, honestly. Reminds me of the outdoors when I can’t be there.”
“That’s so cute.”
I feel myself blush some. “You think so?”
“Yeah. You’ve always been so connected with nature. I’m sure it has something to do with your divination as well though.”
“How do you know?”
“I just read a lot is all.”
I finish braiding her hair and she leans her head back to look up at me. I lean down and kiss her a few times.
“I love you, Panda.”she says when I pull away.
“I love you too.”
“Do you wanna go for a walk with me? Just around the castle? Might be a little cold to go outside.”
“It’s late.”
“Exactly. We’d be alone for the most part.”
“I’d like that.”
She gives me a sweet smile before kissing me softly and getting up. She holds her hand out to me and I take it, allowing her to help me up. She keeps a gentle but still tight hold on my hand and leads me out of my dorm, taking me for a walk around the castle like she’d asked for.
