   “A surprise at a disaster?” She was not buying it.

   “Well this wasn’t part of the plan, Hen.” Which was the truth, but he was a firefighter at heart. He couldn’t not help with something like this happening. Helping was engraved into him, it was normal to him. Could it be that he knew Buck was there as well and couldn’t not go knowing the love of his life was out saving the world and wasn’t there.
