Time: 10 PM
Location: Death City, near Shibusen
Situation: Meister and weapon chasing a weak witch
On a night in Death City, a series of chaotic events unfolded in the city. Medusa's secret identity was discovered, leading to a fight where the witch barely survived and a shocking fact about her child was revealed.
But let's explain little by little to know what happened.
"Bring Your Kids to Work Day"
That's what the letter sent to all the academy staff said, childishly decorated with Lord Shinigami stickers. At first this was a minor thing for the witch since she had no intention of taking Crona to shibusen knowing how weak they were at the moment, So she left it there on the table before going to work in her home lab.
A little while later. Little steps go around the house after playing with their little bunnies they had left, it was Crona. Knowing that her other rabbits might soon meet the same tragic fate as the first, the child decided to spend more time with those who were still alive. As they pass by the table she notice the decorated letter coming from the Shinigami.
At first they left the letter on the table, they shouldn't see Lady Medusa's things, Seconds later the child stopped for a moment while a mass made of black blood emerged from their back. Little Ragnarok
"Hey Crona, what if we read that letter? Medusa's too busy to notice us." Said the weapon with a few small laughs and "gupis" wanting both to read the letter and to get Crona in trouble.
"Are you crazy? I don't wanna get in troubles by your silly ideas" The genderless child said firmly, only to be punched and pinched by Ragnarok
"Ouch ouch! Stop it, stop squeezing my face, I'll read it, I'll read it!" Rubbing their left cheek little Crona took the letter and began to read it, It took about an hour and a half since Medusa focused more on physical combat than on basic childhood education such as reading or counting numbers, except for the killing book.
Which led to Medusa leaving her laboratory at the same time that Crona and Ragnarok finished reading the letter.
"What do you think you're doing?" The witch said a little annoyed as her shadow covered Crona and Ragnarok on the ground.
"Okay, now you're alone kid" Said the weapon, hiding in Crona's back and leaving them alone.
"So, are you gonna answer me or just gonna sit there and whimper?" The witch hurried the child's answer.
"Oh w-well.. I was playing with the rabbit family and then Ragnarok wanted to read this letter and.."
"Yes, it's clear to me that you read it. Anyway, I have no intention of taking you, you're not yet capable enough to go in there, and if Ragnarok suddenly comes out from behind your back it would be a big problem" Medusa said, taking the letter from Crona's hands and throwing it into the trash.
Crona first didn't care that much, they probably would be too scared in a place with new people, she couldn't deal with that much of people. But on second thought, it would be nice to meet other people and children besides Ragnarok and their mother Medusa.
"W-wait!" Said the child, stopping medusa before throwing the letter in the trash "a-actually.. I was thinking if I could go there.. i-i could learn how things work there so.. when I'm stronger I can deal with things more easily?"
"Mmh.. Now that you mention it, it doesn't sound so bad, but you don't convince me, so..." She is about to throw the letter in the trash again, but she stops again.
"There is more behind!" Said the child a little desperate
"Are you making fun of me? Do you think I wouldn't have noticed if that idiot Shiniami had put more behind-"
The witch stopped before throwing it, realizing that there were more behind it.
"... Anyway. 'At the request of the death scythe, spirit albarn, to all the staff that has a child must bring them, this request was accepted since he is going through a difficult time in his personal life. And I know I should have written this on the front of the letter but there are more than 30 letters and I don't intend to write all that stuff again.' Okay I see that ruined someone's day."
"So.. that means I can go?" The child asked with puppy eyes, while her weapon appears from her back, also trying to out puppy eyes "Can we?"
Medusa sighed "Fine, But don't say too much about what's going on at home, and Ragnarok you better behave. "Alright?"
