Summary
A plant is apt - someone put in an inopportune place in order to cause a stir and hoard intelligence, a liar, a fraud. Too interested in his own reflection and poisonous to the core; a venus in the sense of being both a figure of unspeakable beauty, and an open septic maw awaiting prey to fall in. He's toxic and bitter and determined to take root, spread, strangle, and cause decay. Marluxia is as much a pest as he is the nourishment for pests to feed upon.
Vexen does not cultivate foolishness. He exterminates it. Or at least, thats what he has convinced himself.
