Work Text:
Jackie Taylor. The dead girl. A girl who was always going to die young. A girl. A dead girl. A girl no one knew.
How did the others feel about her? A friend? A sister? Maybe a lover? Someone they hated, not because she was mean but because they envied her?
She envied them all. Each and every one of them, they each had something she could never obtain. The girl everyone wanted to be or wanted to be with just wanted to be someone else entirely. Her body never seemed like it was hers, neither did her mind, her mind was controlled by the people she was surrounded with at that time. Jackie Taylor wasn’t for herself, she was for others. For them to love. For them to hate. For them to miss. That wasn’t her though. No one will ever know who she truly was.
Her story ends how she always knew it would dying, being entirely consumed by others, nothing left but faint memories and bones.
Goodbye dead girl, no one ever knew you. The real you. You will be the ghost that haunts them all. The first to go. The first to be consumed.
