Summary
At the annual Wizarding Chess Gala, Draco Malfoy decides he's done letting Hermione Granger pretend what they have is just casual. So he throws her over his shoulder, spirits her away to the library, and poses a challenge with some very persuasive rewards — to drag a few real confessions out of her.

She crossed her arms but didn’t move away. "And what conversation would that be, Malfoy?"
He smirked, just enough to make her bristle. "Your full opinion on Walden."
She blinked. "Why are you so obsessed with this book?"
"And here’s the deal, Granger. If you can manage to say even one good thing about it... I'll finger you." Her breath hitched. "If you come up with two good things, Granger," he continued, "I'll get on my knees and put my mouth on you until you forget your own name."
Her cheeks flushed, but she still glared at him. “Malfoy, we are in the middle of a gala for the …”.
"And if," he said, voice dropping even lower, "you manage to find three good things... I’ll make sure you won’t be able to walk tomorrow."Series
