“WE GOT THE DATES MIXED UP!?” A voice of a girl yelled out. She sounded panicked and very angry. She wasn’t having it.
”no. YOU! Got the dates mixed up.” A voice of a man called out. He sounded as if he was experiencing some sleep loss. He then let out a loud yawn.
”You two? Calm down. We have to go over the plans again. Make sure we aren’t getting the dates mixed up.” A voice of a woman said. Her voice was incredibly soft. It had a tint of relaxing words added in her soft spoken words.
”I agree with Robin! We gotta think this through! Sometimes we get things confused!” The Voice of a man with a deeper voice yelled out defending his wife known as Robin.
”c’mon Franky? You know as much we do!? We probably got the dates confused!? There’s no going back now!?” A voice of a man in a worried type tone yelled out, a tint of quivering in his voice.
”I AGREE WITH USOPP!?” The voice of an animal called out as he sounded panicked and scared.
”Guys. Relax. If we truly got the dates confused we would’ve known, and we wouldn’t be here discussing this if we did. Now would we?” A voice of another man called out as he blows smoke out from his cigarette between His lips.
”I agree! After all, Luffy couldn’t care less anyways! Yohoho!” The high pitched voice said from the skeleton!
Everyone was butting heads and fighting over if they got the dates wrong or if they just made a simple slip up on the boys birthday. Everyone was out of their minds.
”I wish jimbie was here…” the orange haired girl though. Jimbie couldn’t be here to celebrate for Luffy’s birthday, as he was away on business down in fish-man island. They respected that and let the fish be on his way. Although, he told Luffy an early happy birthday before departing.
Quickly snapping out of thought, the orange haired girl then stands up as she makes her way over to the front of the room they are all seated at.
”Everyone! Listen up! And listen up closely! I’m not saying this again so you all better listen to me!?” She says in a serious yet loud tone.
Everyone in the room then turns to the face the orange haired girl standing in front of them. They all are very curious about what she has to say.
”Ok!? Since we got the dates mixed up— or we think we did? We’re gonna have to do allot of impressions here!?” She says in a shocked, yet annoyed tone.
”Ok. Everyone collect yourselves. If you were Luffy— or anyone close to Luffy!? How would you react if you got something mixed up about one of your friend’s family members? Doesn’t matter? Ow would you react?” The orange haired lady asks the important question as she’s curious on some responses.
The room got silent a bit. They all started recollecting themselves as they get prepared to answers the orange haired girl standing in the center of them, question.
Finally, someone breaks the silence by responding.
”If I were luffy in this and I forgot one of our birthdays!? Tbh, I’d make it up to you guys by giving you half of what’s left of my food!” The long nosed man responded.
This makes the orange haired woman sigh in disbelief. As stupid as that sounds, that is soemthing that Luffy would do..
“Ok..? Thank you usopp..? Who else?” She responded.
Someone else— broke the silence as they also responded.
”If I was luffy in this, I’d probably annoy the shit out of the rest of us until we end up giving in and asking him why is he doing it. This is Luffy we’re talking about. Kid’s heart is always on the right track, but the size of his brain messes it all up.” The man in the curly brow responded, as he blew out smoke.
Hey..? That might not be a bad idea..? I didn’t even think of that..?
”Sounds great sanji! Ok? Anymore?” The orange haired woman questioned. Off to a good start!
Someone else decided to speak up.
”well? If I was luffy, and he forgot my birthday. I say fuck it. It’s just a silly old date.” The man in the green hair said as he had his hands behind his head on the couch, putting his feet on the table with both eyes closed. Asshole was Getting comfortable.
This made the orange haired woman want to knock him out the window she was currently standing next to.
”THATS A TERRIBLE IDEA!” She responded in a yell, causing the man to roll his eye at her response. “SOMEONE ELSE GAMBLE!” She yells back out.
Finally. Someone with an idea only Nami can consider a save from the gods answered.
”If I were Luffy and I forgot one of our birthdays? Well. I’d still plan one anyway? After all. With friends as close as to you as your family. Why only throw a party on the date of my birth? Why not just do it out of pure love.” The black haired woman responded with a soft smile.
That Response made Nami smile on the inside as much as it did out. She ended up feeling herself on the verge of tears considering she’s incredibly stressed thinking of a plan all by herself. She didn’t expect to get so much help.
”THANK YOU SO MUCH ROBIN!? THAT IDEA IS PERFECT!? IT CAN EVEN WORK WELL WITH SANJIS IDEA!?” Nami responded with a huge grin upon her face.
This made Robin give her a soft smile back, as she nodded her head in agreement of what Nami said.
”Of course? Don’t mention it Nami. After all. You looked to be struggling pretty badly.” Robin responded to Nami with a soft smile.
Finally. They thought of a plan for their celebration of their best friend.
Sure it may not have been the date of his birthday? And sure? It may not be exactly the day he turned 20 years old? And sure? They may be a bit behind schedule? But with the love they have for that boy. A silly old date didn’t matter to them. Besides, Luffy was always there for them when they needed him most.
”I’m so upset..”
”What for..?”
”My boyfriend left me.”
”Aw! That’s ok! I heard Vivi has interest in you!”
”….What?”
”I’m scared..”
”what for..?”
”Kaya and me wanna try for a baby…”
”aww! That’s adorable!!”
”Thank you! But I’m scared…”
”nonsense! You’ll be a great dad!”
”….Really…?”
”This is bad…”
”What happened?”
“Pudding’s family wants to see me.”
”So what?”
”I’m not worthy to be in the same room as them..”
”Nonsense? You’re the best chef I know! Best guy around! Why would they hate you! After all, you’re no longer an addict! So why does it matter!”
”…..Luffy…”
”I can’t believe this.”
”What’s wrong?”
”I finally found a girl I like.”
”Cool! Name?”
”Hiyori.”
”hey! I heard of her! I’m proud of you!”
”You don’t understand.”
”Huh? Why not?”
”What if I’m not cut out for her. I wasn’t even cut out for Sanji.”
“Hey in life? We don’t sweat the small stuff? If you know deep down you’re capable of being the right one? You wouldn’t worry so much. Now would you!”

”I’m so uneasy.”
”what’s wrong?”
”I have feelings for Franky.”
”I always had a feeling!”
”As glad as I am to hear that. I’m still so scared…”
”why’s that?”
“I’m just leaving law.. what if I’m not the one..”
”awww! Don’t say that! I know you’ll be perfect for Franky! You guys are both weird! Silent!? And you’re always around each other! Tbh! Franky is a wayyyy better choice anyways!”
”….You think so..?”
”I’m so lonely…”
”why’s that?”
”everyone has a partner but me..”
”you’re an animal!?”
”I know!? But…I still want a partner..”
”well? Have you tried Milky?”
”Milky..? She..she remembers who I am..?”
”of course! After all? Who could forget you!”
”…..Are you being honest..?”
”I feel so depressed..”
”oh no? Why?”
”I can’t believe some old bones like me can’t find anyone to call my wife until the very end.”
”well? You already reached your end considering you’re dead!”
”Heyyy? Those are my jokes? Yohoho? But I know..but it’s just so hard…”
”well..even if I don’t know anyone in mind who is the right one for you. I can tell you this? You won’t die alone. Don't even worry about that. Because you still have your best friends? Don’t you.? Don’t even worry about that!”
”….I won’t die alone…?”
”This is not super..”
”Oh no!? What’s not super!?”
”Me and Robin just got together..and I already feel like I’m messing up..
”why’s that?”
”because..she’s to much of a perfect woman for me..”
”but perfect people don’t exist? She’s not perfect? And neither are you? Or I? Nobody else..? Relax Franky? You’ll be ok? Trust me. You and her are a great match..”
”…..This kid says the craziest of things..”
He was like a true sun god..
His smile could cure a sickness..
His laughter could cure a wound..
His hugs could make sunshine..
His eyes could make you smile..
His hands could make you happy..
His words can make you feel reborn..
His voice sounds like a song..
His heart..makes you feel included..
That is what our best friend truly is..
An angel…
*AT THE PARTY*
The party was very beautiful. It had tons of party decorations everywhere. All in his favorite color. Red. He had a huge balloon in the corner that said his name in big bright red words. There was also tons of streamers everywhere. Luffy’s brothers chipped in with the streamers.
There was also a ton of gift’s in the corner of the room as they were labeled with Luffy’s name. In shiny boxes. Toy character boxes. And so on.
There was also a huge table of food inside the dining room full of nothing but his favorites. It had meat, dipping sauce, tons of sushi, fruits, chips. And tons of desserts for him to snack on.
The stairs were also neatly decorated with red silky ribbons with a nice bow to end it all at the end. It looked like a red carpet party from a certain perspective.
And to finish it all off. Balloons in the air to go off once the boy entered the room.
“Ok!? Is everyone in place!?” A voice yelled out. It sounded shaky and very worried.
”It’s fine. Relax Koby? I told you. We got everything under control!” A voice of a man yelled out. It sounded confident and bold.
”Yeah. What ace said! It’s gonna be fine Koby? After all? We all chipped in to help didn’t we?” A voice of a man with blond hair responded. He had a warm smile on his face.
This made koby’s nerves die down a bit. As he sighed as he nodded the two wise men’s words.
”I’m sorry..it’s just..I want everything to be perfect for Luffy-San..what if he doesn’t like it!? What if we got everything wrong!? What if—“
A voice responded to his worrying panic attack.
”Kid relax. I think we got everything “luffy-san” would want at a party.” Sanji responded as he adjust his tie with a smile.
”I agree? After all. Only thing that truly matters right now is the fact that we’re all here. Right?” Nami responded with a smile on her face.
The rest of the crew agreed with a nod with Nami and Sanji’s words. (Including his brothers.)
This made Koby finally feel at ease, as he realized fancy ribbons and tons of gifts isn’t what made Luffy happy. It was his friends being there for him..
”You guys? I see a car pulling up! I think he’s here!” Robin Quickly yelled out. She then ran into the dining room. “Everyone! Party hats on!”
Everyone nodded as they put their hats on as they quickly ran into hiding spots.
Koby felt his heart beating at a fast pace. Why was it beating so fast? Was he scared? Was he worried it wouldn’t go right? Was he afraid Luffy wouldn’t like it?
Koby calmed himself down by remembering his friends words around him. He realized it didn’t matter what Luffy thought. It was about Luffy’s happiness that made the moment special..
Suddenly..the door creeped open..
They hear footsteps from two people walk into the house. They hear a man’s voice yell out.
”MAN! IT SURE IS DARK! I WONDER WHAT’LL HAPPEN IF I JUST..?” He said as he then turned on the light.
Quickly! Everyone stood up and yelled!”
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUFFY!!!”
Koby then stood up late as he also yelled!”
”HAPPY BIRTHDAY LUFFY-SA”
Before he could finish it they yelled out something else.
”AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY KOBY AS WELL!!!”
Koby was MASSIVELY taken aback.
Koby then ran over to Nami as he quickly asked.
”WHAT DAY IS IT TODAY!?”
This made Nami chuckle at his response as she pulled up her phone as showed Koby.
The phone read may 13th…
Koby was stunned..
Koby totally forgotten..
That his birthday had also been coming up..!?
Luffy quickly POUNCED on his boyfriend hugging him as tightly as he could!?
Koby totally couldn’t breathe!?
”HEY!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KOBY!!! YOU DIDNT KNOW THEY WERE THROWING YOU A BIRTHDAY PARTY EITHER!? NEITHER DID I!? WELL I HAD A FEELING BUT STILL—“ before the kid could finish. A voice yelled out.
”HEY! What do you mean you had a feeling!?” Zoro yelled at to Luffy.
Luffy then gave him a surprised face as he put Koby down as he began scratching behind his head, with sweat dripping with a nervous mouth.
”Ohhh..I don’t know..? I totally didn’t see you guys shopping at the party store the other day, noooo!” Luffy responded in a nervous tone.
Everyone’s jaws DROPPED.
”YOURE MEANING TO TELL ME YOU KNEW WE WERE PLANNING THIS FOR YOU!?!? SO WE STRESSED ABOUT DATES AND PARTY SUPPLIES FOR NOTHING!?!?” Nami yelled out in an angered voice.
Sabo then let out a laugh as he put his hand in front of Nami.
”I wouldn’t say for nothing! Luffy saw you guys shopping? He didn’t say he knew all of this would be here? But then again. What did you expect? He is Luffy after all.” Sabo said with a smile.
Ace then laughed at his brother’s words. With both arms over his chest.
”I agree. Kid usually shops at that store for chocolate coins. Only way he can get to them.” Ace responded with a smile.
This made Nami calm down a bit as she understood it now. She sighed.
”I guess that makes sense..sorry for yelling Luffy!?” She responded in a hurry.
Luffy then laughed as he gave her a huge smile.
“It’s ok Nami!! I expected it from you anyways!!”
That made Nami smile.
Garp then walked inside the dining room and yelled out.
”ENOUGH TALKING! LETS PARTY!!!”
Everyone was taken aback by the man’s strong voice!?
Usopp quickly hurried over to the DJ booth as he put a record on the record spinner playing tons of beats for Luffy’s birthday. Everyone started dancing and moving to the beat.
Koby then walked over to Luffy. As he wrapped his arms behind his neck and nuzzled his nose gently and told him personally.
”Happy birthday Luffy-San..” he said with a soft smile. He then dug his hand inside his pocket and grabbed out a box. He handed it to Luffy.
Luffy who now had a bright blush on his face. Grabbed the gift.
”What’s this..?” He asked.
Koby giggled at this response.
“open it and find out.”
Luffy nodded and opened the box. He was shocked at what it was.
It was a necklace. But it had the initial of “L” on it. It was a fancy L at that. It also looked like it befitted with another initial. Luffy then quickly looked back at Koby.
”Koby..it’s so beautiful…you got this for me..?”
Koby then nodded and responded with a smile.
”Of course I did luffy-San..anything got you..”
That made Luffy blush even brighter. He then put the necklace around his neck as it befitted very well. He then put the box down as he grabbed out soemthing from his pocket making his boyfriend raise his eyebrow un suspicion?
Luffy then gave the box to Koby with a smile and he nodded with bright eyes and an even bigger smile and said.
”Thats for you! Open it!”
Koby then nodded and looked down as he removed the top of the box, placing it down onto the floor. He then gasped softly at what was inside.
It was the other initial…
This necklace was just the same as the last but with a different initial this time. It had a fancy “K” on it instead of an “L”
Koby then looked back at Luffy with a surprised face.
”How did you know to get me this..?”
Luffy giggled with a huge smile on his face as he responded.
”Just a hunch!”
That response made Koby blush but smile. He then put it around his neck, as he hooked it in the back. He then walked next to Luffy, holding his up.
Luffy knowing the drill held his up as well.
Both of them connected.. it made a beautiful star shape..
They both blushed at it as they looked at each other and smile.
Koby laid his head on Luffy’s shoulder as he smiled and whispered.
”Happy birthday Luffy-San..”
Luffy then let out a gasp softly. As he laid his head on top of Koby’s and smiled and hugged him gently and whispered.
”Happy birthday to you as well, nerd..”
They both couldn’t ask for a sweeter birthday..
