He hears someone cackling behind him before he hears the Keizer speak.
“Good.”
In that moment, Godzilla Junior blinks as he sees the yellow spacium blade – generated by the Ultra Bracer given to him by his mentor Tiga – aimed down at his foe. For a moment, he looks upon the black armored form of Kiryu who holds up his left arm while the spacium blade is pointed at his chest. The kaiju who dared threaten his brother and sister is now at his complete mercy with those glowing yellow eyes appearing...afraid.
Turning his head, the young gojiran looks upon the white bone armor of the beast once known as Keizer Ghidorah, leader of the Xilien Empire. As he looks at the armored bipedal kaiju, he sees the rest of the throne room and recalls where he is.
The Xilien Mothership, overlooking Planet X as the Global Defense Force fights the Xilien Fleet to free Earth and other planets from his tyranny.
“Your hate has made you powerful,” the Keizer says with a wicked grin while he senses the dinosaur's emotions, “Now...fulfill your destiny and take your father's place at my side.”
Godzilla Junior turns his head back to the fallen mecha before him and raises his right arm which brings the spacium blade away from his foe. His eyes looked down upon his right hand as he has it close into a fist, the faint sounds of mechanical joints being heard.
Looking down at his hand as he opens it, he looks back down to Kiryu's destroyed right forearm which he had sliced in half. There he sees smoke from the wound and wires which remain as he comes to a horrifying realization.
Closing his eyes, the gojiran takes a deep breath to calm himself and his mind. In that moment, he remembers his mission, his reason for being there...and those that he loves, still fighting with all that they have.
With a flex of his hand, the spacium blade vanishes before he turns to look upon the dragon while he takes off the Ultra Bracer.
“Never,” Godzilla Junior says, tossing away the bracer which slide across the floor, “I'll never turn to the dark side.”
The Keizer watches in confusing as his smile fades while the dinosaur come off the bridge which hangs over the shaft leading to the main reactor. Upon stepping off, Godzilla Junior pants though stands tall and looks at the emperor he fought so hard against – lost so many friends to – as he makes a proclamation.
“You've failed, your highness. I am a Jedi...like my father before me.”
The gojiran watches as the Keizer's arms fall to his side as a look of pure rage etches itself onto the dragon's face. Yet still Godzilla Junior stares down his foe, waiting for the next move that the ghidorah has against him in their battle.
He's met by a sneer as the Keizer speaks.
“So be it...Jedi.”

On the surface of Planet X, humans, aliens, and Earth Defenders alike are fleeing from the imperial base that they had been sent to destroy. The charges were set and about to blow with Zilla being the last one out – no thanks to that traitor Ebirah who he easily slew. As his runs away from the base, the mutated iguana shouts, “Move, move! Move!”
“Zilla, over here!” he hears Biollante shout, a good ten meters away from the base. The iguana quickly rushes over and jumps to land right next to Biollante as he finds Mothra Leo and a few humans with her. The moment he reaches them, the guardian moth summons an energy barrier around them with crystals growing close by as SpaceGodzilla protects another group.
And just in time, as an explosion erupts out of the main doors of the base entrance with flames and sparks reaching out towards them. Yet that is nothing compared to the gigantic explosion which takes out a rock formation about a hundred meters away which held the shield generator.
Upon seeing the sight, the allied force began to cheer as Zilla let loose a roar at the explosion knowing what it means. Biollante smiles at the sight as she turns to Leo who gives her a smile though it was obvious that his compound eyes held worry.
Worry for her brother.

In space, the readings come in moments after the destruction with both fleets having detected it. Yet it's the GDF Fleet which act first.
“The shield is down!” Captain Gordon of the New Gotengo exclaims as he talked over comms, “Begin the attack on the Mothership's main reactor!”
“We're on our way!” Sho Kuroki says as he and his co-pilots turns the Super X III towards the Xilien Mothership, “G-Force, Monarch, all fighters follow us!”
Miki couldn't help but smile as she turns to Shinjo and says, “I told you they'd do it.”
“Never doubted it for a second,” Shinjo replies with a grin as the Super X III flies towards their target with Dogfighters, GX-813 Griffons, Mysterian Saucers, and FFE Space Fighters following after them.
It was time to finish this battle!

And inside his throne room, the Keizer felt it all happen. He felt the destruction on the planet along with the loss of the shield keeping the GDF away. The Force allowed him to feel the movement of squadrons of spacecraft making a race towards the Mothership now rendered vulnerable.
All of this fed into his growing rage as he raises his hands towards the young gojiran before him.
“If you will not be turned,” he says as Godzilla Junior braces himself, “You will be destroyed!”
In that moment, he holds his hands towards the dinosaur as he subjects the Force to his will and launches Gravity Beams from his hands. The golden bolts of electricity strike Godzilla Junior, making him cry out as he falls back onto part of the barrier before the core shaft. As the beams begin to end, the gojiran raises his left hand with him calling upon the Force to block a few of the weakened bolts.
Kiryu pushes himself back up onto his feet and stands as the dinosaur pushes himself forward to try and get off the barrier. However, Godzilla Junior sees the mecha walking forward and out of the way all the while the Keizer has a small smile.
“Young fool,” the bone armored dragon says, “Only now at the end...do you understand.”
The Keizer launches more Gravity Beams at the young gojiran who raises his left arm out to use the same power he had used moments ago. Yet it is for naught, as his lack of experience with it combined with the dragon's own power renders the attempt a failure with the blast tearing through it and into the dinosaur's body. Struck again, Godzilla Junior curls up as he desperately tries to hang onto the barrier to avoid falling off it.
A second blast of Gravity Beams hit him as he cries out from scales being torn from his body leaving wounds which quickly begin to bleed. When the blast ends, the Keizer slowly walks forward as he watches the dinosaur struggle to pull himself away from the abyss with lightning sparking around him.
“Your feeble skills are no matched for the power of the Dark Side,” the ghidorah proclaims as Kiryu walks up to stand on the right of his master.
Approaching ever closer, the Keizer witnesses Godzilla Junior pull himself forward and away from the abyss before launching his Gravity Beams. Now at a higher output, the gojiran cries out again as he collapses onto the floor from just a short burst of it as the two Sith Lords look down upon him.
“You have paid the price for your lack of vision,” the Keizer says as he launches another blast of Gravity Beams.
Stuck once again, Godzilla Junior twitches and cries out as the golden blasts of electricity arc into his body with Kiryu standing there watching. As he does, the mecha...or rather, the kaiju inside him...begins to emerge as he witnesses the kaiju's son...his son...being tortured.
Looking at the mecha, the gojiran reaches out and exclaims, “Father, please!”
But that is all he could manage as the Keizer slowly ramps up the output causing the dinosaur to cry out as the mecha seems to only watch it all unfold. Yet inside his mind, a battle rages between the Sith Lord and the kaiju he once was as they struggle for control.
A struggle which the Keizer can not feel, as he is now truly consumed by the Dark Side as he unleashes all of his anger and hatred upon this final Jedi. The last Jedi who will ever emerge, having sensed the deaths of all those from the Old Order who could even stand a chance against him. He would find a new apprentice to replace the broken machine later, for all that he's focused on is killing this final piece of the order his lineage was set up to destroy.
He stops his powers for a moment as he takes a breath and takes in the sight of the young gojiran laying upon the ground helpless and with no one to assist him. In that moment, he speaks softly to his weakened foe.
“Now, young Godzilla...you will die.”
A sinister smile comes across the dragon's face as Kiryu looks down at his son injured and shaking as he struggles to breath. In that moment, the kaiju he once was grabs a firm hold onto reality and begins to fight tooth and claw to regain control of his body as he pushes against the Dark Side.
Moments later, the Keizer's smile becomes a sneer as he launches his Gravity Beams again which strike the young gojiran. This time – subjected to almost the full power of the blasts – Godzilla Junior screams as the barrage of electricity makes his body spasm and even his right arm begins to spark from the power.
The screams of his son reach the mecha as he looks upon the dinosaur as their body is covered by the lightning which tears apart more of his scales. Even with the regeneration that a gojiran naturally has, the boy would be unable to repair all of the damage in time to stay alive.
Kiryu looks to his master who keeps launching his Gravity Beams and remembers when the ghidorah – long ago having golden armor and three heads – promised him a power unlike any other. One which a desperate kaiju needed to ensure the safety of his family only to instead lose it all in the process.
And now...his son – long thought dead – is about to join his Gojirin in the afterlife.
The mecha looks down upon his son again as he hears them cry out for him, a final plea for help from the only person who could safe him. And in that moment, Kiryu realized that...he could save him. He could save his son right now, save him from the end that would surely come if he just stands there.
In that moment, the Sith Lord realizes that he could save the one he loves from dying...
...and in that moment, the Jedi returns.
As the Keizer prepares to unleash the full power of the Dark Side upon the helpless dinosaur, Godzilla turns and moves forward with a bellowing roar. Powered by the love for his son, the gojiran uses the armor he was trapped inside to grab the dragon and lift him off his feet with his left hand crushing his pelvis. The ghidorah, caught completely by surprise, screams as his own fully powered Gravity Beams enter his body and they begin to rip into the mechanical body the dinosaur is inside.
Feeling the electricity leaving his body, Godzilla Junior turns his head weakly to see his father holding the dragon above his head as he walks forward. Even as the Gravity Beams hit him and reveal the skeleton and inner workings of his suit, the armored gojiran keeps moving forward as his life support is struck.
“Kiryu!” the Keizer screams in both rage and fear, “Release me! Kiryu! Put me down!”
“I will,” Godzilla exclaims as he keeps moving, “Down the core shaft! Down to your death!”
Horror grips the Sith Lord's heart as he keeps launching his powers in a desperate attempt to save himself as he proclaims, “Kiryu! I am your master!”
“Kiryu's master,” Godzilla says with a roar as he reaches the barrier and edge of the abyss, “But not Godzilla's!!”
With the last of his strength and power, Godzilla throws the Keizer down the reactor shaft as the mechanical suit he's in gives out and collapses onto the barrier. Through the lenses of Kiryu, the dinosaur watches the ghidorah plummet down the reactor shaft until he could be barely seen.
Then, an eruption of Dark Side energies blasts up through the shaft back into the throne room as it washes over Godzilla and the barrier he's on. He hears the screams of all previous Sith Lords and those like him before the energy gets suck back down into the reactor shaft. Once it's all gone and the shaft returned to normal, the display could only mean one thing.
The Keizer is dead...never to return.
In that moment, Godzilla lets out a shaky breath as air comes out from a tube in the neck of the mechanical suit. He finds himself struggling to breath as the life support for Kiryu begins to fail and he feels the weight of the prison that contains him.
Hearing the broken sounds of his breathing, Godzilla Junior struggles to his feet and stumbles over to his father as he grabs him and pulls him off the barrier. Finding himself on his back, Godzilla looks through the lenses to see his son – now fully grown – and remembers the young cub he saw before he fell to the Dark Side.
How foolish he was to believe the Keizer's lies. He always had the means of saving the ones he loved...he never needed the Dark Side to obtain it.
