Chapter Text

The sky was a dull gray the fog was rolling over the clearing where the challenge had been set up
Chef grumbling and sipping coffee from his mug appears

Stupid Chris can't even check his own challenges himself probably off getting another massage Chef grumbles

He checks the finished obstacle course moving to the rope swing.it creaks eerily .A crow is squawking ominously above

Wait where is the mannequin we used to check the challenge Chef thought aloud He turned to find it hanging on the electric fence

Chef was about to pull it back with a rope when the figure appeared

Chef sighs and turns around alright whichever one of you punks is here better return to your cabin I am giving you one minute

But He soon realized the figure was not a contestant
They appeared to be the same size as Chef but a lot older they had a knife in hand they made a knife flicking motion
Before suddenly rushing at Chef .Chef grabs their shoulder before glaring at them have you got a death wish he snarled and punched the attacker before he realized what was happening the attacker has slashed him in the chest Chef stumbled back bleeding heavily he needed to get back to Chris He realized Warn him that there was a killer to tell Chris to take the contestants and leave there was no reason to save chef He started running out the clearing with the killer giving chase adrenaline was the only thing making Chef be able to run Chef stops when he thinks the killer is gone The killer rushes out of nowhere with a power drill in hand chef tries to look at their face which is completely covered chef realizes in horror it is made from the clothing of the interns The killer revs the power drill and comes closer everything in Chefs mind was telling him to run but he couldn't was it because of fear,lack of hope or maybe the fact that death was inevitable Chef punched the killer in the face but he didn't even flinch before driving the drill into Chefs Leg,then his stomach then his head pinning him against the tree The killer doesn't stop there but drags a near dead chef back to the obstacle course before hanging him on the rope he chops of Chefs arm and uses it as a flag satisfied with his work the killer leaves Chef hatchet falls into an eternal slumber Axel was on her morning run trying to complete a round of the new island when she first smelt the horrible smell curiosity getting the better of her She follows it and finds none other then chef hatchet hanging on the rope . She immediately rushes back to her cabin hastily explaining what happened Axel I dont believe that Chef has been murdered Bowie tried a second time this is probably a challenge a murder mystery of sorts like- But what if it is real Ripper said coming to his girlfriend's defense

Fine let's go check it out Bowie huffed the group of sixteen soon were led to the clearing where there was a pool of blood
Oh my god Millie gasped She was the first to catch sight of Chefs body it had been strung as a trophy on someones mantel
Even in death the cook had a serious expression on his face
Wait it could be a fake and just Chris trying to scare us like the cake challenge last season Mk pointed out
Raj ,Wayne go and lower him gently check if he has a pulse Bowie ordered

The body was soon lowered to the ground Dude he is missing an arm Chase whispered to Zee
Caleb and Millie stepped forward to check the pulse of the dead man
The body to their shock was Cold the murder had happened hours ago

Someone get Chris Axel ordered Damien ,Raj Wayne and Chase went off I search of the host
Yo Chris open the door Chase begged but the door remained shut eventually Wayne and Raj broke it open a furious Chris came to the door with a frown on his face
What is the matter with you four the challenge isn't in another four hours
Chris We found Chefs dead body Damien moaned
This got Chris's attention this better not be some sick prank lead the way
Back at the clearing the group soon realized the cooks death was no accident when they found the stab Marks on his chest
They were about to investigate further when the group of four boys arrived accompanied by none other than Chris
This is just a challenge right
There is no way chef has been murdered
Chris please tell me this isn't true.
There were different questions yelled at Chris
Step aside let me have a look he demanded
He immediately regre looking when he noticed his co-hosts cold,lifeless body

Everyone get back to your cabins there was a note of urgency in his voice which they had never heard before
The group silently made their way back to their cabin
And started gathering their stuff

We will get out of here right Raj asked Bowie it was more of a request then a question Bowie hesitated before answering just one word

The group suddenly heard the horn of a boat and ran towards the dock to their shock the boat was leaving holding Chris,His camera crew and the production
Staff

Chris please come back damien pleaded he didn't get an answer in return
Chris McLean had left them At that very moment Lauren knew that not all of them would be able to leave this island alive

Chef hatchet thought that he would find himself in a place from among his dreams a peaceful meadow,A garden of trees of every fruit
Or be in eternal torture in the fire below
But he never thought that he would be stuck on the island for the rest of his life

He had tried talking to Axel when she had found his body but had been unable to do so and found out that his efforts to communicate with the living were going
to be fruitless

He had tried to leave the island but kept finding himself
Back on it perhaps it wouldn't be too bad for all He knew soon others would be joining him

He pitied the living knowing the terror they would soon be living in there would likely be a pool of blood on the island by the time all the chaos ended

Scary girl was not one to be scared of some drizzly killer. She had seen far worse in her life and the way he had killed Chef was pitiful. She could have easily done better nonetheless she wanted to track down this killer
She was the only one who was going to make her fellow campers scream! She silently crept out of her cabin at night there really was no need to though. Even if someone saw her sneaking out they would be too scared to follow her

She first went off in the direction of the mess hall.
Perhaps to arm herself with a knife or an axe.

She eagerly grabbed a knife ready to make some serial killer cereal for herself she smiled at the visual. Too bad she was too deep in her thoughts that she didn't hear the sound of the door opening and see the shadow looming above her on the wall... Back at the boys cabin Raj and Bowie are talking when Raj asks a question that makes a few people like Chase and Damien jolt up from their bunks.

The question albeit silly would also play a key factor into their survival "how much food do we have" left.
Shouldn't we like go and check? Damien asked already knowing the answer but asking anyway Bowie pondered for a moment before agreeing.

I will go tell the girls where we are going eh Wayne suggested before running off Back at the mess hall lauren was about to the exit the building before a force shoved her against the wall. Before picking her up by the hair .Lauren tried to get a look at her attacker but their face was covered with the Same mask chef had seen the one made from the clothes of the missing interns Lauren felt weird for the first time she was not afraid ofcourse she wouldn't be it was just a feeling of nervousness .As the killer dragged her towards the back and into Chefs kitchen she realized a piece of the mask had been patched from Chefs purple shirt. The killer was dragging her towards the furnace in the back Lauren knew what he was trying to do and started struggling. When her efforts proved fruitless she bit down hard on their hand causing them to momentarily flinch .Unfortunately for Lauren it wasn't long enough to escape the killer grabbed her again before throwing her through the furnace door . The killer soon lit the fire in the furnace .Lauren tried her hardest to put it out but it only got bigger. She banged on the metal door trying to break it off it's hinges but this didn't work and She was soon burning. Lauren also known as Scary girl didn't feel Pain more or less disappointed for failing The killer meanwhile watched as Lauren struggled before giving up .He watched as her bones burned to black watched has her skin was burned to a char crisp. Satisfied with his work he took a small piece of Scary girl's dress that had not burned likely to add it to his mask The group of Boys soon arrived to the mess hall if only they had come earlier. They may have been able to prevent what happened. It was Bowie who first noticed the smoke and went to check and was shocked to see the lit furnace. He called the group who quickly put the fire out using some sand and water .It was then that they found the body.Due to all the burns it was hard to recognize In a turn of fate Damien was the one to recognize the body of the person he feared the most due to their uncanny purple hair.Scary girl? He muttered. Oh god Caleb breathed trying not to puke.Zee ,Ripper,Chase can you three tell the girls what happened Bowie said turning to the trout trio Normally Ripper would have refused to take orders from anyone but even He realized the severity of the situation and soon ran off with his friends .Some 15 minutes later they arrived back the girls in tow Axel immediately went to action Check if she is still warm.What dumb question is that Chase asked frowning ofcourse she is warm.Axel glared at the youtuber before continuing being dead doesn't mean we stop caring about them we are going to take the body back and place it in one of the bunks of the Sparrows cabin Hearing this Bowie along with Caleb,Axel and Ripper went to place the body. They were about to leave but decided to put a sheet on the body as if not to see her again not that they were disgusted more so the fact they didn't want to disturb her peace. Scary girl never expected the door of the furnace to ever be opened again except it was by none other than chef hatchet. How are you Chef asked Lauren looked down at herself Her skin having burn Mark's,her hair scorched and her bones burned to a crisp.She felt an odd tingling sensation where the burn marks were otherwise fine So where are we She asked hesitantly. We are stuck on the island Chef responded gently with nothing but each other for company.Come on let's go At that moment Lauren didn't know if she felt happy to not go through the pain or feeling bad for the others for once knowing their deaths were going to be more brutal

Day IV

Damien Rodriguez looks down at the food on his plate most of which is canned. He didn't feel hungry not after finding Lauren's dead body in the furnace. She may have been creepy but even She didn't deserve such a horrifying fate. As the group ate in silence Bowie got up from beside Raj and addressed the group. All right I know we are all scared and worried out of our minds but we can't just sit here and do nothing .We will be nothing but cattle for slaughter in that case ____________________________________________________ Bowie is right do you all want to get off this island Raj asked agreeing with his boyfriend. Caleb sighed before getting up look guys it's not that we are getting up the thing is that we are unarmed and scary girl who was likely the strongest among us got over powered by them. First of all we need a game plan anyone got an idea he asked motioning with his hands Doesn't Julia have liked 50 phones?Zee asked casually sipping from a soda Everyone turned to look at the influencer woah woah! She exclaimed raising her hands Chris actually checked our bags this year I don't have a single one The group sighed in disappointment . Well they could still be on the island right Emma stated optimistically . So we go out searching today damien inquired looking up from his plate for the first time since the discussion started . We might have to the sooner we get the phones the sooner we get off the island Millie stated plainly. The group was about to get up but Axel motioned with her hands for them to sit down We are not going to just split up that way it will be easier for him to get us. ____________________________________________________ It was soon determined that they would all be searching in groups . The first group consisted of Priya,Caleb,Millie and Damien. The second group would consist of Emma,Bowie and the hockey bros. The third group would be Axel and the trout trio The final group or rather trio would be of Nichelle,Julia and Mk Much to Nichelle's chagrin. So are we all going in different directions Damien implored wouldn't it kind of backfire if we need another group's help.Relax dude Caleb reassured putting a hand on the shoulder of the other boy We will be fine nothing can go wrong . Oh how Caleb would soon regret those words. Why would Chris even hide the phones in the Cabin Emma asked Bowie who was currently looking under some floorboards of the cabin.It is Chris He literally hid the Idol in a bush last season .He wouldn't expect us to check such places too bad his plan didn't work and thank god it didn't Bowie ranted to the Blond girl who merely just held the floor boards above while Bowie did the searching alas it was just a waste of time. Did you find something He questioned the Hockey bros who had been Checking the other cabin. Both boys shook their heads indicating their efforts were also fruitless . ____________________________________________________ Do we seriously have to check here Julia gagged as the trio stood in the washrooms. Get searching and pray to God that the killer doesn't feel like murdering someone in the shower today Nichelle ordered . I highly doubt that Chris actually hid them here Mk noted looking under the sink And why is that Nichelle challenged turning towards the kleptomaniac . Maybe because there aren't too many good hiding spots in a Washroom Julia interrupted impatiently Nichelle simply rolled her eyes before stopping Did you two hear that She whispered softly. The three girls turned their attention towards the stall where a scuttling sound could be heard The three approached the door nervously and threw it open luckily for them there was nothing but a mouse the three sighed in relief. Too bad one other group wouldn't be so lucky . _____________________________________________________ As the group climbed the hill where the boat house lied on Caleb Harlan could feel the air growing colder. So who wants to go in first Damien chirped nervously Priya sighed and pushed the door open .She soon wishes that she hadn't inside hung the bodies of three interns.All of whom were starting down at them it was a grim reminder of what could become of them if they don't escape the island in time . Oh god Millie mumbled She continued to stare at the corpses She didn't realize that Caleb and Priya had started opening cabinets and drawers.She went over to search with them when it happened the door flung open. And there He stood a Hammer in hand.He raised it above His head and aimed for Damien who was frozen in his spot and probably would have been killed If Caleb hadn't tackled the murderer who fell to the ground as Caleb continued to wrestle with him on the ground Priya saw the opportunity and tried to grab the hammer The killer wasn't going to allow a toy of his to get stolen and soon shoved Caleb aside.The group realizing they were beaten started to run from the killer they were almost out the woods when it happened Damien Tripped on a tree root and landed with an oof Millie saw what happened and rushed back to save the reactionary. As she helped him up a Shadow could be seen this time with a different item a chainsaw. The two started running until Damien was ahead He turned and saw the killer making progress on Millie He wanted to go back and help the girl He turned around about to go back but his legs kept moving in the opposite direction as if telling him there was no use.Damien forced himself to turn away as tears welled in his eyes He knew what would happen all he could do was to tell the others. _____________________________________________________ It was Axel who heard the Screams and ran towards them her group hot on her tail.They found Priya and Caleb running.Axel rushed forward and started to shake Priya's shoulder who wasn't making any sense but Axel got the picture on what must have happened Killer in the boat house...Attacked us.....we fought back ......Realized we had no chance......When we turned around We couldn't see Damien and Millie Zee,Chase take Priya Back to Camp Ripper,Caleb you two are with me I thought We made the groups so nothing like this would happen Ripper demanded pointing a finger at Caleb Ripper calm down Axel instructed We will find them one way or another. She soon turned out to be right when they found damien out of breath He muttered only three words Millie is dead ____________________________________________________ As the boy lead the group to the body He himself got a look at it .Her legs and arms were twisted at awkward angles.Her Stomach had been ripped open and blood was pooling there.And worst of all she had an arm raised as if calling for help .I will carry her back to camp damien whispered that was the least He could do for letting the girl down who had saved his life that very day

Caleb and Axel watched as Damien carried the body of the lifeless girl back to camp.At the moment nobody was around at camp it was a good thing to none of them were in the mood to answer questions. Caleb opened the door and watched as Axel helped Damien place Millie's body across the bunk from Lauren's.Ripper had ran off ten minutes ago to inform the others of what had happened. One of the cabins had been silently converted into a morgue.Axel watched Damien leave the cabin without saying anything ______________________________________________________ So what happened out there Bowie looked up from his bunk to see Chase pestering Damien who sat on the bunk below his .Chase I don't think He is in the mood to talk Raj sighed trying to guide the youtuber away but Chase was not taking the hint. I just want to know Chase continued shrugging raj's hand away.So were you the one who discovered-.Shut up Damien cries out this yell wakes both Wayne and Ripper up who had been napping. You think I wanted to leave someone to die on my accord Damien snapped someone who had saved my life just 15 minutes earlier? I didn't it's human instinct to run when you face danger I wanted to turn around and go back but couldn't .Would you have He demanded snapping a finger in Chase's face.Chase frowned before standing his confidence having faltered I totally would have Chase mumbled under his breath Yeah right Damien said in a cranky voice before turning around and facing the wall.At that moment Bowie wished nothing more than hope Chase would end up in such a situation so that He would"prove" his macho attitude oh how Bowie would regret his wish

So are we going out searching again Emma asked the next morning at breakfast her question was addressed to the girl who sat next to her that being Axel.I highly doubt Damien and Priya will be wanting to go after you know what happened yesterday Nichelle said butting into the conversation.Caleb is staying with Priya Bowie responded He likely doesn't want to leave her in her time of need.We should probably leave someone to look after Damien Caleb added who had heard His name and decided to join the conversation I likely won't be able to keep watch on both of them at the same time.I can stay Nichelle volunteered raising her hand .Okay then that's final Axel agreed we are searching again today

Bowie couldn't help but chuckle causing Raj to splash him with the water It was a rare moment where the two forgot about all their problems So when are you going to propose to me Mk quipped as She and Julia walked in the direction of Chris's trailer which they had been assigned to check .Julia huffed with amusement before turning around to her secret partner.If you find The phones and we get out of here with less than 3 casualties. Wow dark Humor Mk said waving her hands sarcastically. The door isn't opening Julia declared got any ideas She said turning to the kleptomaniac already ahead of you She muttered She opened the door with the aid of a hair clip.Wow so this is Chris's stash There was a mini fridge loaded with food of the highest quality, a toilet with heated seats, a recliner a ,hot tub in the washroom and two giant LED screens .Nothing useful for survival here besides the food Mk noted We should grab as much as We can carry and inform the others the two exited the trailer looking like theiving racoons

Hands reaching out for help but him not doing anything
Damien Rodriguez had been a coward His whole life was He going to die as one? There was a sudden knock at the cabin door and Nichelle walked in.Umm hi I guess Nichelle said raising her hand Damien didn't respond simply staring at the ceiling. Damien I just want you to know that it wasn't your fault that Millie died .Damien turned to glare at her It was my fault and I admit It I should have atleast tried even if it was in vain you don't understand what it's like- We don't understand Nichelle asked In an accusing tone Damien We all have been trying to survive We have all gotten more cautious after losing two of our on I know it must be way different seeing the douchebag in person everyone besides Maybe Chase and Ripper think that you made the right call even though it wasn't the morally correct one And who cares what Chase and Ripper think.We have the right to make our own decisions We could have lost both of you She finished her rant to see Damien had gotten up Before She could react He got up and hugged her

And then like Damien snaps and asks If I would have gone back like I totally would have.Zee listens as Chase rants about Damien being Mad at him.The two had been gathering fire wood as Axel had instructed them.Only three of the duo's had been sent in search for the phones Zee wondered how their progress was going. Have you like considered apologizing Zee casually asked taking a sip from his soda .For what Chase asked Being curious What's wrong with that. I don't know dude you were kind of in the wrong there Zee recalls like you shouldn't have asked him the same night He saw her die maybe.He was interrupted as a Shadow loomed on the two boys.Run Chase commanded and the two started .Chase turned around to hurl sticks at their attacker but they merely bounced off his chest The only thing Chase could feel was the adrenaline pumping him. The situation was do or die He kept going faster and faster till there was a significant difference between him and the killer unfortunately Zee had been left behind. Chase turned around to find the boy's leg caught in a bear trap.Chase rushed back and started to help the trap was almost open.....then the killer arrived Chase successfully freed Zee and started to carry him .Then it happened a low hanging branch caused Chase to drop Zee who fell with a grunt .Chase wanted to go back but there was no reason to the killer had already caught up and stood over Zee and glared at Chase as If daring him to come closer .Chase started sprinting without thinking. Leaving the killer free to operate He pulled out a Machete and started hacking at Zee the boy screamed for help but help did not come

The last thing Emma Anderson expected was to see Her Ex Chase Hawkins running up to her worry etched on His face Zee..Killer got him....I was forced to flee.Emma sighed if It wasn't Damien's fault for fleeing it wasn't Chase's either Lead us She commanded at once which Chase did at once .Emma soon regretted her decision on the ground lay neatly pieces of Zee's arms and legs .His face had been ripped off.Chase fell to the ground sobbing in despair Emma asked Wayne to get someone as She tried to comfort Chase something She didn't imagine She would ever be doing

Dude dinner is ready you got to get up Caleb harland looked below his bunk to find Ripper trying and failing to get Chase out of his bunk.The muscular boy sighed and jumped down the time he had spent with priya today had basically went the same way,not that he was mad or annoyed more or less sad and disappointed that so many of his friends had already given up on their will to live.Meanwhile at the dining hall Emma sat with Bowie the boy seemed to be deep in thought ,Emma didn't mind today had been a rough day and she herself didn't know what to say well besides the obvious.She was thankful that Axel and Nichelle and proposed to take over her and Bowie's shifts to cook . _____________________________________________________ So how bad was it Nichelle asked looking up from the cabbage she was slicing She hadn't asked out of curiosity more or less worry of what the boy had gone through. Axel sighed before replying his back had a good 20 to 30 holes all of which were leaking blood as if some sort of fountain go figure for yourself.Oh Nichelle muttered not really saying anything. Well let's get these to everyone Axel indicated to the plates. Axel exited the kitchen to find only Bowie,Emma,Julia,Mk and Damien sitting there.Where are Wayne and Raj Nichelle asked as she set a plate in front of Bowie .Wayne couldn't stop vomiting Raj is with him in the washroom. Priya is likely with Caleb I don't know where Chase and Ripper are probably the cabin.I will go check up on him after dinner Axel announced. The group started to pick at their plates ,the sound of cutlery was paused when Mk directed a question to Axel so what's the plan for tomorrow,I highly doubt we are going searching given how well it has gone so far Mk muttered sarcastically. If you have nothing better to say I suggest you leave Bowie advised trying to intervene before a fight broke out.Whatever Mk muttered She and Julia picked up their plates and left . _____________________________________________________ So that's how you died Millie murmured,Zee had just finished the story of his encounter with the killer.He really didn't go easy on you huh Scary girl remarked morbidly.So we are stuck here forever huh Zee wondered absentmindedly his prosthetic now twisted played with the sand .Chef sighed the reality likely hadn't sunk in for the boy he shared a sad glance with Millie before getting up to take a look at the alive campers. Can I come with you Millie asked Cheg raised an eyebrow,I just want to see how Priya and Damien are doing. Chef turned away before the girl could see him cry as he nodded his head. _____________________________________________________ So how is he doing Axel asked already expecting the answer She had brought Ripper a plate of food and now the two were standing on the porch talking. (A plate had been put beside Chase's bed which had yet not been touched.terrible Ripper muttered between bites.He himself had wanted to break down right then and there when he heard who had died but ended up finding himself comforting Chase.how about you two should go for a walk or something I will keep an eye on Chase Bowie suggested coming up the steps .Thanks but you don't have to do it- Axel said before being interrupted no I owe you for taking over Axel sighed before grabbing Ripper and heading towards the Cliff for a stroll grabbing a knife just in case... ______________________________________________________ It was around 11 when Julia first heard the Beep sound Emma,Nichelle and Priya had long fallen asleep Mk was shifting in her bed and god knows where Axel was.She looked for the source of the sound when she gasped with delight her smart watch ,On which She had tried calling after Lauren's death but got no response due to its shitty quality was now flickering a message :Julia Mason's phone 800 meters away.She climbed down quietly before approaching Mk.Mk get up I have got something to show you the kleptomaniac sighed before turning to her girlfriend her eyes widened when she saw the message the two girls glanced at each other realizing what they were gonna do ______________________________________________________ Five minutes later the two were walking through the forest with Julia continuously looking at her Watch 800.....700.....600. Her thoughts were interrupted when Mk asked the question which the two should have thought of while leaving the cabin how about we tell someone or take a weapon (not that they had many options for either choice).400.....300......200 almost now Julia whispered her breath shaky.Then it happened the killer appeared a hook in one hand and a phone in the other.Mk saw Julia running,she wondered why wasn't she following her,her mind was screaming at her as the killer got closer....Julia watched the killer pick Mk up,Before she realized what She was doing She found herself tackling him .He merely huffed and move about 3 feet ,Mk fell from his hand and crawled towards Julia,The two started to run ,soon there was distance between them and the killer,As soon as they were far enough,Julia hugged Mk the kleptomaniac smiled briefly before showing her something,the phone the killer had along with another yellow cased one,then it happened,someone barreled through the woods and grabbed Julia,Mk looked to her left and gasped ,there were two killers.....
