It was 2 am when Buck woke up to the sound of his phone going off. When he looked to see who it was, he answered the phone immediately.
“May, why are you calling me at 2 in the morning?” He tried to speak quietly since Eddie was sleeping right next to him.
“Heyyyyyy Buck,” Her speech was a bit slurred, and he could tell she was drunk.
“Are you okay?”
“No, there is some guy here who won’t leave me alone, and when I told him I would call my brother, who's a Navy SEAL he laughed.”
“Okay, I’m on my way,” He quickly threw some pants and a shirt on while still staying on the phone.
“Buck, what’s going on?” Eddie said from the bed, rubbing his eyes.
“May called me from a bar, someone is harassing her, I’ll be back.”
“Do I need to come with?”
“No baby, it’s okay I got it handled.” He leaned down to kiss Eddie’s head, then his lips.
“Okay, be safe, I love you.”
“I love you.”
He grabbed his keys and was out the door.
“May you still there?”
“Yeah, I’m here, are you on your way?”
“Yeah, can you tell me what bar you're at?”
“The one over by the Walmart, I think it’s uh- the one that you guys go to a lot.”
“It’s okay, I know which one you're talking about. I’m about 15 minutes away.”
“That’s good.”
“Listen to me, can you wait outside for me?”
“No I can’t.”
“Why not?”
“Because I’m hiding from the dude in the bathroom, and I can hear him talking on the other side of the door with his friend.”
“I’m almost there, hide in the stall furthest from the door.”
“Okay, I can do that.”
“Good, I’m right down the road.”
“Please hurry, I think they are about to come in.”
“I’m pulling in.”
Buck got out of his truck and ran into the bar looking for the bathroom. Once he got there, the 2 men were just about to enter the bathroom.
“Hey,” He called out, getting their attention.
“Who are you?” The taller brunette asked.
“I’m the brother who's a Navy SEAL and also a firefighter.”
“Ha, that’s funny,”
“It is, isn’t it, now how about we leave the women alone and get going before I call the cops.”
“Yeah I don’t think so bud.” He reached for the door but before he could put his hand on it, Buck grabbed it and twisted it behind the man’s back, shoving him to the ground with a grunt.
Buck looked up at the other man, whose eyes were wide open. “Do I need to do the same to you or did you get the message yet.”
“Nope, all good here, we were just leaving.” The man picked up his friend and they sprinted out the door.
Buck lightly tapped on the bathroom door, “May, you in there?”
“Yeah I’m here, are they gone?”
“Yeah they're gone. Can you open the door?” The lock made a clicking noise and May opened the door.
May pulled Buck into a crushing hug
“Alright, you're okay,” He said while patting her back. “Are you ready to go home?”
May pulled away quickly, “No! Buck, I can’t go home like this, my mom will kill me.”
“Hey, hey, I know I meant I’m taking you back to my house and you can sleep in the guest bedroom.”
May pulled him back in for a bone-crushing hug, “You really are the best brother you know that?”
“I try, now let’s go.”
Buck led her out to his truck, buckling her in and then rounding the truck to the driver's side.
Once they were halfway home, May spoke up.
“Ravi is going to be so worried.”
Well that wasn’t something he was expecting.
“May what do you mean?” He asked
“Me and him had a fight because he asked me if I wanted to tell everyone about our relationship, and when I said no, he got upset and said that we’ve been in a relationship for a little over a year now and that he wanted to tell people.” After she had said all that, she slapped her hand over her mouth and looked at Buck with wide eyes, immediately regretting what she had just said.
“WHAT!?!”
“You weren’t supposed to find out, and now I just told you.” She groaned and put her head in her hands.
“You guys have been together for over a year!?”
“I said a little over a year.”
“MAY!!”
“Yeah okay, me and Ravi have been dating for over a year now and we didn’t tell anyone because I was scared of what people might think of us.”
“You mean you were scared of what your mother was going to think.”
“Yeah you could say that, and now I’ve stormed off and he has no idea where I am cause my dumbass left my phone at home,” She cried out.
“First of all, your not a dumbass, and when we get home I will call Ravi while you get ready for bed.”

Once they got home, Buck gave May a pair of clothes she could change into after her shower and sat down at the dining table to call Ravi.
“Buck, I need your help.”
“It’s okay Ravi, May is at my house.”
“Wait what do you mean?!”
Buck explained the situation and about how May was going to be staying the night at Buck and Eddie’s house.
“God, okay, thank you Buck, I’ll be there to pick her up in the morning.”
“Okay, I’ll see you then, goodnight Ravi.”
“Goodnight Buck.”
Just as he hung up with Ravi, he heard the bathroom door open.
“You okay?”
“Could be better, did you talk to Ravi?”
“Yeah he seemed pretty worried.”
“God, I am the worst girlfriend ever.” She groaned, taking a seat on the blue coach.
“I don’t think that’s true. Remember when I dated Taylor Kelly.”
“Oh please don’t remind me.” Eddie’s voice came from the hallway, and when he entered the living room, he was wrapped up in a blanket from their bedroom.
“Yes Eddie, we know how much you hated her.” Buck signed and then let out a low laugh.
“She was awful.” He complained, rounding he coach to sit on the coffee table.
“Anyways, my point is that Ravi will be able to forgive you. And I don’t think he thinks you're the worst girlfriend.”
“GIRLFRIEND? What did I miss?”
“Ravi and I have been dating for a year-”
“Over a year.” Buck pointed out.
“Yes thank you Buck, over a year, and tonight we got into a fight because I’m not ready to tell people about our relationship, that’s how I ended up at a bar, getting wasted so I could forget.” She confesses.
“May, it’s okay, there is no need to be ashamed, we’ve all been there.”
“Have you?”
“Yes.” They answer at the same time.
“When we first got together,” Eddie pauses then continues. “I was scared to reveal our relationship, because I hadn’t come out yet, and even though I knew no one would judge me. Well no one at the 118, I was still scared. I still don’t know why, cause when I did everything went fine.”
“So you guys went through the same thing?”
Buck takes Eddie’s hand in his and looks at him with a big grin. “Yep, and now we have 3 kids and have been married for 4 years, about to be 5.
“I get it you guys can stop looking at each other like that.”
“LIKE WHAT?” Eddie complained while Buck burst out laughing.
“Like you've been in love for years.”
“Well we kinda have.” Buck said while still trying to keep himself calm.
“Okay whatever.”
“Alright kid, it’s your bedtime.” Eddie patted her knee as he got up.
“I’m 23 years old, I don’t have a bedtime.”
“Well it’s past our bedtime and the girls will be up in 4 hours.”
“Love you get some rest.”
“Love you too.” Buck kissed her head and made his way to his room.

May was awoken by a very loud, “MAY! Wake up, sleeping beauty!”
“Hey, I thought your favorite princess was Belle, that’s literally your name.” May laughed
“She is but you're acting like Sleeping Beauty because you’ve been sleeping FOREVER.” She made sure to exaggerate the forever.
“Oh I’m sorry. Can you have your dad get me some water and ibuprofen?”
“He already did,” she nodded towards the bedside table, “and we don’t have ibuprofen cause dad is allergic.”
“That’s right, how could I forget?” She took the pills and the water lying next to her. “Can you tell your dad thank you?”
“Orrrrr you can because I was supposed to come in here and tell you breakfast is ready.”
“Well why didn’t you say so.” She huffed out and made a show of trying to get out of bed.
“Auntie May your silly.” She giggled
“Thank you now let’s go eat before your dads and Chris eat it all.” She made a growling noise and threw Belle over her shoulder and made her way to the kitchen.
“MAYYYY!!! Put me downnnn!!”
“Okay okay I’m sorry I’ll put you down.” May very lightly threw Belle on top of the couch. Making her way to the kitchen.
“Alright, where’s my breakfast?” She said and sat down at the table.
“Wow I’ll make sure next time not to make you any.” Buck laughed coming from the kitchen Eddie following behind.
“I’m kidding,” she giggled, “but really thank you, I’m starving.”
“It’s probably because you decided to get wasted and now you're having the worst hango- Ow!” Buck whined when Eddie elbowed him in the side.
“Buck there are little ears around!” Eddie hissed.
“What's a hangover?” April chirped in.
“Nothing! Now eat your blueberries.” Eddie said, feeding a blueberry to her.

After they ate breakfast, Ravi came over while May was in the shower, bringing her over some clothes so she didn't have to borrow Buck’s. Once May was done her and Ravi sat down on the steps out front, and Ravi was the first to break the silence.
“I’m sorry.”
“Ravi what do you have to be sorry for? I should be the one apologizing.”
“No May, I pushed you away and it led you to a bar where a bunch of guys were harassing you, I shouldn't have done that so I’m sorry.”
“Hey that wasn’t your fault, I got mad and left, and I shouldn’t have done that I should have stayed there and listen to what you had to say, soi that is why we are here so I can listen to what you have to say.”
Ravi hesitated, “I don’t want to keep our relationship private because I want to be able to say and show how much I love you in front of the people we love, and I understand why you don’t want to. You're scared and May I want to be honest with you, I am too. I’m scared that once we do tell people things are going to go bad or what my parents might think of me because they never expected me to ever find anyone that would love me like you love me. I don’t deserve you and I’m scared my parents are going to see that too and ruin it for us.”
“But I love you and if you aren’t ready to tell people then I will wait another year, or forever if that means I get to love you.” They were both crying at this point and at some point they had started holding hands.
“Ravi, I want to tell people. I want to tell the whole world that I love you. I want our loved ones to see us get enaged, get married, have kids, I want them to see it all.”
“Was that a proposal?” Ravi let out a wet laugh.
“No that was not, but now you know what I want in the future.”
“I guess that’s true. So you want to tell people?”
“Absolutely, but Buck and Eddie already know.”
“That’s okay they would probably be the first we told anyway.”
“YES!!” They heard from the other side of the door, which sounded a lot like Buck.
May reached up to open the door and found Buck and Eddie on the other side.
“How long have you guys been listening?” Ravi questioned.
“I don’t know what you're talking about.”
“Huh uh”
“Well I told Buck to be quiet.” Eddie stated.
“Whatever, we’re going home.

Later when they got back to Ravi’s house, May sent a message to the group chat.
118 groupchat + May, Athena, Karen, Maddie
Mayday: Me and Ravi have something to confess…. we have been in a relationship for 1 year 3 months 18 days and 4 hours
RaviRavi: It’s true :)
Chimney: Probie and Athena Grants daughter!! Wow never saw that coming
Mads: Congratulations!!
Buckaroo: I just want to point out that me and Eddie knew before any of you
Athena: Congratulations but I will be talking to Ravi later and May I will be talking to you about why Buckaroo over here knew before me.
Mayday: Copy that mum
Hen: I’m happy for you guys but now I owe Maddie 40 bucks
Mads: Damn right you do!
Eddie: Wait so Maddie won the bet for me and Buck AND for May and Ravi
Mads: I’m just too good I guess
Chimney: It’s true idk how she does it
Mayday: You guys had a bet between us too damn now I know how Buck and Eddie felt.
Buckaroo: THANK YOU
RaviRavi: Shouldn’t we get some of that money since we are the couple
Eddie: Nope if we didn’t get any you don’t either sorry not sorry
Bobby Nash: Cookout at our house this weekend to celebrate. -Bobby Nash
Karentherocketscientist: I’ll bring my upside-down pineapple cake!!
Buckaroo: Now I’m definitely going
Mayday: Anyways love you guys see you this weekend, me and Ravi are looking at houses.
Athena: WHAT!?!?!
Hen: Damnit I owe Maddie 20 bucks AGAIN!!
Mads: I expect that money this weekend
