“Alex,” Henry breathed out, his voice barely more than a whisper. Emotion clearly welled up in his eyes, and he swallowed thickly to force it all back down. He ran trembling hands over his trousers, and in a shuddering voice said, “It’s terribly good to see you again-”
“Shut up,” Alex breathed out. “Shut all the way up.”
Within three long strides Alex was finally, finally, getting his hands back on Henry’s face, cupping those sharp cheekbones and dragging a thumb along that solid jawline and pulling him in close for a kiss he had been thinking about for the last 3,650 days.
