"...I think I'm gay, Dan Heng,"
"Wow, a fork found in the kitchen," Dan Heng chuckled. "How surprising,"
"Not what I meant!" Caelus felt his face flush. "I mean... I'm gay for Mydei!"
"...You just realized that?" Dan Heng blinked, looking up from his book. "You stare at his abs like crazy, and the way your eyes sparkle at his sight makes you so obvious,"
"H-Hey!" Caelus huffed. "Help me with it!"
"What... do you want me to do, exactly?" Dan Heng raised an eyebrow. "Convince Mydei to be yours while Phainon's at the trial?"
"Come on, Dan Heng...!" Caelus pouted. "At least help me get the chance to be with him! To get closer to him! He can get so cold while waiting for Phainon! Pleaseeeee!"
"...I feel like you can get closer to him without me needing to interfere," Dan Heng shook his head.
"But he doesn't even want me near him while he's yearning for Phainon," Caelus knelt in front of the Vidyadhara, hands clasped together. "Pleaseee Dan Heng! Help me convince him to at least get to know me and talk to me! PLEASEEEE!"
"Ugh, I'm gonna regret this," Dan Heng grumbled and set the book down. "Fine, fine,"
"YAY!" Caelus beamed. "THANK YOU SO MUCH, DAN HENG!"
"..."
"...I feel like we miscalculated this,"
"Gee, you think?" Dan Heng snorted as he leaned against Mydei, who snaked an arm around him.
"Miscalculated what?" Phainon questioned, snuggling the gray-haired man from behind him.
"Eh," Caelus sighed and kissed his cheek. "It was months ago. I had a crush on Mydei, so I asked Dan Heng to help me,"
"And look at how that backfired," Dan Heng snickered.
"I already knew," Mydei admitted with a chuckle. "But Dan Heng interested me more,"
"Rude," Caelus gave a pout.
"D'aww, don't be down, Cae," Phainon giggled. "Aren't I a better crush substitute?"
"Definitely," Caelus grinned, earning an eye roll from the Kremnoan.
"Don't know about that," Dan Heng slid on Mydei's lap, and his boyfriend leaned forward to kiss his neck. "I like what I got,"
"You should. I'm better than that Deliverer can ever be," Mydei scoffed.
"Oh hey!" Phainon huffed. "You're that confident, aren't you?"
"Confident and can back it up," Mydei pulled his boyfriend closer, sending a snicker to his rival/friend. "Can you?"
"Is that a challenge, Mydeimos?" Phainon pulled his own partner onto his lap.
"You bet it is!"
"Bring it on!"
"What are they on about this time?" Caelus whispered.
"No idea," Dan Heng shrugged, but said nothing else as they watched their partners argue once again.
