Truthless Recluse peered off the balcony of the spire
They could barely see the ground
“Long way down, isn't it, Nilly~?” a voice behind them purred
They didn’t need to turn around to know who it was
Shadow milk huffed as Truthless Recluse did not respond, their eyes still fixated on the ground
He floated beside them, arms resting on the railing
“I’d love to see you jump, to see your oh so pathetic body fall and then SPLAT on the ground~ AH HE HE HE HE HE.” She erupted into laughter, but the Recluse gave no reaction
Truthless Recluse glanced at their arms, blood soaking through the sleeves.
Maybe it would be better to jump.
They had already failed everyone, there was no point.
Shadow Milk glanced at them curiously, raising an eyebrow “Eh- Nilly? Hellooooooo? Pure Vanilla Cookieee?” He waved a hand in front of their face
Suddenly, Truthless Recluse leaped over the edge, making the jester jump slightly at the sudden movement
Shadow Milk just grinned and snapped open a portal, humming as she went through.
As Truthless Recluse fell, they would only reflect on their past actions, what led them here.
But they deserved this, to be wiped from this world.
All of earthbread would be better off without them.
The ground approached quickly, and as they closed their eyes and released their staff, blinding them, they felt at peace
But before they could hit the ground, they felt a pair of arms catch them.
Staff shoved into their hand, their eyes shot open, heterochromic ones staring back at them.
“Oh silly Vanilly! You’re not leaving me that easily ~!” He barked with laughter
Truthless Recluse couldn’t help but curl up in the liars arms, letting out soft sobs
“My dear Recluse, all will be okay!” She leaned down, licking up the former king's tears. “You're so pretty when you cry.
He pressed a kiss to their head “Now lets go clean you up, due to your little arm stunt, your blood made quite the mess of my balcony!”
