Summary
The fae cannot lie—but that does not make them honest. Bound to truth, yet they embrace deceit.
Many believe creatures who cannot lie must be easy to outwit. Those mortals rarely survive long enough to regret the mistake, for the fae’s games are cruel, precise, and merciless—and every grave consequence is earned without a single false word spoken.
Or; A Fae King meets a skeptical mortal trapped in a fairy ring.Series

Summary
Shadow Milk lolled his head to the side with sluggish movement, like a doll with nothing to keep his head upright. "Lessen their worries, huh? Don't you mean the opposite? Have you seen me?"
"I'm seeing you right now." Pure Vanilla tilted his head the same way, letting some strands of his hair fall over his face―long pieces that were tucked behind his ear afterwards. "Floating on my balcony. Sulking―"
Or in the middle of trying to be something else other than the Beast of Deceit, Shadow Milk Cookie unfortunately fell in love with the one person he shouldn't. Hanahaki Disease.

Summary
Shadow Milk knew that taking up Pure Vanilla's offer of friendship would bring him trouble, but he did it anyways. Trouble had indeed found him, Eternal Sugar had aided Dark Enchantress in crafting a spell to trap him, Nilly, and some less significant cookies within various plays. Even more frustrating, most of the others seem awfully resistant to realizing that they are stuck within a story. Shadow Milk is hardly thrilled by the prospect of trying to make cookies see the truth once again.

Summary
Pure Vanilla is determined. He doesn’t plan to fix Shadow Milk. He doesn’t see anything broken in someone who’s still fighting. He just wants to show him that he can already find his own way. Nothing is impossible if you try. He wants to show that even the worst person could change for the better, without becoming entirely good. He isn’t naïve enough to believe that. But if a person is just trying to become a better person, that’s already a huge step for them.

Shadow Milk redemption through Pure Vanilla's eyes.

Summary
Viridescent scans the room, booming with confidence he never knew he possessed. Even if his mind doubted his true desires, his heart always knew, and his heart pulled him towards a certain actor he had the pleasure of interacting with months ago--to put it simply, he had grown rather infatuated after a long conversation about stage design.
Two fingers gently tap Ad-Lib's shoulder to get his attention, and the second that attention was caught he blurted out his innermost desires:
"If you would allow it, I would like to marry you."The next day, he wakes up to the knowledge he is engaged and is expected to properly court the actor to make up for the sudden proposal, the problem being he felt like a bundle of nerves and a love sick fool. How could he romance Ad-Lib of all people?
