“The prince’s attendant, ma’am? I’m afraid I’m inexperienced in this area.” Seonghwa said, not wanting to be defiant, but also unsure of how doing well in school landed him a position as the glorified babysitter of a spoiled prince. “No experience necessary. The job is not difficult, but it is important.” She listed off his duties. “You are to attend to his every need. You will dress him, bathe him, keep his schedule, ensure he eats meals, and be available at all times. What he says, you do. No questions asked. Understand?” Seonghwa nodded to show he understood, but inside he wondered just how helpless prince Hongjoong could be if he needed so much care.
That was two years ago now, and he’d come to learn that the prince was far more capable than he first thought. After spending so long by the prince’s side he had learned there was much more to him than meets the eye.
