   Afraid to lose her position as her father's heir, Rhaenyra trades her heart for security. Dejected and not at all celebratory after his triumph at the Stepstones, Daemon gets repaid for his bravery by a mysterious woman. Both get their biggest wishes granted.

   And just like that, Rhaenyra's heart begins beating for someone, and Daemon is no longer forlorn — but is it just the dark magic they have entangled themselves in or genuine love? Is this feeling real — or just a spell of a witch playing with both of them?
