Darkness. I saw the dark. I was sure that that night would pass normally, that I would finaly take a break from those lousy visions.
But no...
Unpenetrable darkness once again turned into that strange, unfamiliar city. It was similar to London, but not quite. I recognised the Big Ben, Tower Bridge, even the Thames river. But something in the buildings, people and even the sky was different. It was at dead of night. The road was illuminated by the street lights, standing in perfect rows. I was walking along a path paved with a strong stone pavement. I headed the opposite direction to where I normally would go in this situation. I was curious to see if I could change the scenario of the event in which I found myself in.
It was cold, cloudy. Considering it was still London, I was sure it was going to rain. Just like it always did in that vision. And it did rain soon after I predicted it. I embraced myself, feeling my body trembling from cold. I felt how the water soaked my clothes. I wanted to find my house but instead I found myself in a part of the city I didn't recognise. But that was not my biggest concern. I simply wished for this bloody cycle would end.
I don't know if said cycle ended that night but I am positive it was crucial. When I realised I didn't recognise the surroundings I was in I felt uneasy. I knew I was standing on an unknown territory, unfamiliar for my both physically but also dreamily. Every step filled me with fear and uncertainty. But I knew I had to keep going. Maybe if I went just a little further I would not see that cruelty and the cycle would end. I was right...
When I was passing a big wall of a tenement built from red bricks I hit my head on a sign that said what street it was. I found myself on a "Mistful Street". I blinked a few times from surprise. I never saw such a street on London's maps. I looked around. I didn't see anything familiar except for the road I was following. I noticed beautiful, rich houses on my left. Candlelights illuminated the rooms inside.
"Those inside must feel better than me right now..." I thought. "Warmth, comfort..."
Suddenly someone bumped into me. I gasped surprised. I never saw people deep in that city. Before the figure could walk away, I called out to it, drawing its attention to me.
-Excuse me! I don't mean to interrupt but I lost my way. Could you help me find it?
The figure stopped in its tracks upon hearing my words and turned around to face me. It was a tall man in a black coat that was reaching his knees. He wore a coal-black tophat and a pair of elegant shoes. However his skin was pale, suggesting it might have not seen the sun too often. I couldn't really see the man's face properly. All I could register was his blond hair that didn't fully hide below the tophat.
The man smiled, grabbing the edge of the tophat with his gloved hand.
-You finaly found me, Clara...- That was the last thing I heared in that story. The rest is a mystery to me that does not want to be solved by my memory.

I woke up around 6 o'clock in the morning. I felt tired like never before. Upon seeing the time I opened my eyes wide and jumped out of the bed, forgetting about my tiredness imidiently. I had to auickly eat my breakfast, dress up and run to the bus stop as fast as possible. Luckily, I got to school before the bell rang.
