“Hello?”
“Sir! Are you there?”
“Akutagawa speaking.”
“Ah, I want to pass the message that you don't have any work duties next week, It's all been completed - Mori’s words to be exact.” Higuchi exclaimed. Of course, not without a lot of effort. She had taken more shifts from Mori to lessen her senpai’s work load. In fact, It was her birthday. Meaning, she wanted to spend all her time with the person she loved the most, Akutagawa! You can't blame her really…
“Is that so? If that is all, I'll be on my way back to cooking.” he scowled.
Higuchi paled. “I didn't mean to disturb you, Sir! It's best I be off too haha...” she awkwardly chuckled to herself. “Have fun!”
Now was the easy part, ask him to go on a date. How hard could it possibly be..?

Very hard.
Very, Very Hard.
Higuchi had been staring at Akutagawa’s door for who knows how long, that her eyes had started to water… Or maybe it was her nervousness taking over her body instead. Regardless, not a thrilling position to be in!
Just knock Higuchi, it'll be ok… nothing to be scared of-
“Higuchi?”
“AH!”
Akutagawa blankly stared at her flimsily trying to re adjust herself. “What are you doing here?”
What was she meant to say again?! “ Well… you see… i.. Um-” Fuck. “I wanted to ask! You!” She pointed at his chest. “To hang out with me this week!”
While Higuchi tried to calmly resolve her flusteredness around her senpai, Akutagawa only stared deeper into her. Is he trying to kill her?!
“Whatever. It's your birthday in a few days, right?” He said, grabbing a hold of her arms – which were covering her face. “I made too much food anyways.”
“I- um… I-” Higuchi could barely let out a single word before getting dragged inside.
Maybe It wasn't so difficult after all…
