Summary
The Betty and her crew have just about made it to Shithole Earth. Everything is wrecked and the toll her past and current life are taking on Ripley finally crashes down on her. But the crew (now including her, she guesses) have little time to deal with the fallout of the shitshow on the Auriga. Because someone has kept an eye out for the Betty. And not everything that fell from the sky is dead.
Call already knows it is down to her and the walking temptation that is Ripley in her finest snark to manage Vriess and Johner and give them all at least a chance at having a future. Despite none of them having much hope left that it won't involve permanently chasing xenomorphs, or threat to life and limb. But at least, where there are aliens, there is Ripley...
