Summary
The Prince runs his fingers along the string of pearls that make up his own coronet, smiling softly as he watches the empty doorway. “We knew that Bokuto-sama dotes on his little pet.” He sniffs, tucking a strand of shimmering hair behind his ear. “He has always been prone to flights of fancy, but he will listen to reason.” He smiles again, and this time Akaashi can see the sharp edge of a canine against the perfect, pale swell of his lip. “Betrothals can be lengthy; human lifespans are not.”
