“Yoichi why don’t you come with me to the flower shop” Kaiser asks
“Why would I?” Isagi replies dryly
“Ness will join”
“Fine”
“Pathetic simp” Kaiser snorts

“Kaiser, you made it!” Ness’ eyes widen at the sight of dark blue hair behind Kaiser
“You don’t mind if Yoichi tags along right?” Kaiser says before brushing past Ness
“T-that's…totally fine by me” Ness says before putting on a cheerful facade again
“Sorry if I interrupted something” Isagi glances down
“Don't worry! Like I said it's completely fine” Ness smiles
“Ah…okay” Isagi feels a slight tug on his lips

All three of them walk into the flower shop, the shelves filled with colorful flowers and floors covered with pots of plants, each one different from the other.
“Alright, Noa says we need 3 flowers and 1 medium pot” Kaiser reads off his phone
“I’ll pick the flowers!” Ness excitedly says
“I’ll get the pot then. Yoichi, why don’t you go with Ness? Maybe help him choose some” Kaiser smirks before disappearing into one of the long rows of plants
“Let’s go Yoichi” Ness says, grabbing Isagi’s wrist. Isagi can feel his stomach flip

The flowers here were really mesmerizing to look at, yet, Isagi could help but stare at Ness instead, who was busy looking at the different colored roses in front of him. To Isagi, Ness’ smile is as bright and colorful as any flower, and dare he say Ness looks prettier than any flower.
“These look so cute!” Ness is holding a pot of sunflowers, smiling warmly.
“You’re cuter” Isagi mutters. Wait? Did he say that? Isagi is confused about what to do with him today. Maybe it’s the intoxicating scent of the flowers, or maybe that it’s just him and an angel alone, in a flower shop.
“What?” Ness raises a brow
“It’s nothing”
“Look there's lilies! I wish I could take a photo of these, Theo loves them” Ness sighs “ I forgot my phone”
“I could take a photo if you want” Isagi offers, taking out his phone
“Send them to me later, okay?”
“Alright Ness, say cheese”
“I meant the flowers not-” Ness says before smiling with the pot of lilies, making a ‘peace’ with his free hand
Isagi uses this chance to take multiple photos, Ness’ adorable v-shaped smile was really something else.
“Are you done?” Ness walk towards Isagi, trying to look into his phone
“Yeah, yeah. I- I’ll send them to you” Isagi quickly closes his phone, trying to hide the fact he took an embarrassingly huge amount of photos. One of Ness and the flowers, and the rest focusing on Ness

“Let’s go to the next aisle” Ness suggests
They both walk around until Ness stops to look at another selection of flowers. He looks like a curious puppy, the way his head slightly tilts while he observes closely, the way his eyes slightly widen and his smile glows brighter while handling the soft, delicate flowers. Isagi would do anything to make Ness smile like that everyday.
“Do you think this looks good?” Ness asks Isagi, which snaps him out of his daydreaming. Ness is holding blue roses. Of course he’d pick something like that. Isagi can’t help but feel a little jealous
“It’s a good choice, Ness” Isagi quickly looks away
“Yoichi, why don’t you pick something? You’ve been standing there for a while” Ness points out.
“I’ll choose something” Isagi swiftly whips his head around, trying to hide the fact he’s blushing.

Isagi walks around, looking at all the different flower options around him. He soon spots something that catches his eye, or a color, that is. It's a sweet, elegant, magenta colored flower. Isagi bends down to read its name.
“Tulips” Isagi reads “These look good”
Isagi soon returns with 2 pots of them
“Oh Isagi you’re back” Ness waves “Hm? You brought two pots” Ness says, confused as to why Isagi got 2 of the same flower
“The other one is for me” Isagi replies
“I see” Ness stares for a few seconds, his lips pressed into one line
“Did you find anything?” Isagi says, attempting to lighten the awkwardness between them
“Oh, I did” Ness picks up the pot of royal blue roses “And these too” Ness turns around to show a pot of deep blue hydrangeas. Isagi can’t help but smile

“You’re finally back, what took you so long?” Kaiser questions
“Sorry, it’s just that there were so many options” Ness apologizes
“It’s whatever. Let’s just pay now” Kaiser says, glancing at the flowers Ness and Isagi had chosen.
“Hey Isagi, you can have some of these hydrangeas. I got extra for you” Ness hands Isagi a small bouquet of hydrangeas.
“Thank you Ness, I’ll make sure to look after them” Isagi grins “You can have some of these, if you like” Isagi hands over his extra pot of tulips
“Ah I- really?” Ness stutters, a slight pink tint covering his cheeks
“Take it as a gift” Isagi hands over the pot. Ness looks down at them, face still frozen in surprise

Isagi soon feels a tug on his shirt. Kaiser rips Isagi out of the moment to speak to him
“Yoichi you dumb clown. You don’t know flower meanings do you” Kaiser sneers
“What flower meanings? ” Isagi asks. Kaiser smirks, but it looks as if he’s mocking Isagi
“The flowers you gave Ness, those tulips, it means love. Your basically confessing through flowers” Kaiser says “Although, your pinning is so blatantly obvious he probably already knows anyway”
“...” Isagi bit his lip. He messed up real bad. Would Ness reject him? Would Ness hate him? Isagi hopes that it won’t happen. Maybe Ness will tell him to stay friends. That wouldn’t be so bad, even though it would hurt. A lot. Isagi stares at the small bouquet of blue hydrangeas in his hand.
“What do these mean?” Isagi glances back at the bouquet
“They’re blue hydrangeas, it means apologies. I guess Ness does feel the same way.” Kaiser shrugs
“Does he?” Isagi ponders
“Dunno” Kaiser answers dryly

“Ness I, uh”
“Do you want to hangout sometime?” Ness asks
“Wha- I mean” Isagi clears his throat “I’d love to”
“Saturday, 2pm. Meet me at the park”
“Wait- does this mean?”
“Yes Yoichi, I accept your confession” Ness giggles
“Ew I hate couples” Kaiser’s eye twitches

“These taste really good. Did you make these yourself?” Isagi asks, munching on some apple pie
“I’m glad you liked them! I made everything myself” Ness chuckles softly watching Isagi take another slice of pie.
“Hey Yoichi, look” Ness points to a small bee laying on a blade of green grass
“I gotta show Bachira this” Isagi takes out his phone. Ness leans over and suddenly his eyes widen. Isagi’s wallpaper is a picture of Ness, posing next to some sunflowers
“Is that me?!” Ness yelps
“N-no” Isagi hides his phone away from Ness
