Summary
Grian was pretty mad at himself for losing the bet. When Gem had proposed it to him with a gleam in her eye, it had seemed like a done deal in his favour, something stupid that he doesn’t even remember by now, something that wasn’t even worth it. He didn’t even have a favour in mind for what he wanted to ask of her if he won — clearly unlike Gem, who had this entire ploy in mind.
Scar was also there because of course he was, he could never pass up an opportunity to humiliate Grian. Grian had squinted at them both, knowing it was never a good thing when the two of them schemed together — especially when they corroborated against him — but again, it had been too late by then, Gem was dragging him by his hair into her base.
Or; Grian loses a bet to Gem. Her and Scar take the chance to humiliate him until he cries.
