    Keigo knows it’s just a mission, get in, get intel, get out. What he doesn’t expect is the aching in his lungs, the petals he starts coughing up, red and violet like betrayal. He ignores it.

    Dabi swore he’d never end up like his mother, never fall in love, never let it rot him from the inside out. But when Keigo disappears and he starts coughing the same flowers, he crushes them under his boot and spits, “This is what you get when you fall in love.” Love made his mother weak. It makes him weak too.

    And maybe that’s the worst part, because it turns out, they’re both weak for each other.
