“Satoru, I’m done. I can’t keep doing this with you,” Suguru says, snatching her wrist back as she picks up her clutch. “I don’t know why you bothered showing up on this trip. I don’t know why you roped us into this fucking double-blind-date. But I can’t sit there pretending I’m okay and like I don’t know you. You might love those mind games, but I don’t,” Suguru says and walks away. Or at least tries to.
Satoru’s hand catches Suguru’s jaw, her mouth finds Suguru’s. It’s not gentle.
It’s all teeth, at first. Suguru fists her hands in Satoru’s shirt and kisses her back like she’s punishing her, like every time Satoru broke her heart, every time they screamed at each other and drove each other crazy is stored somewhere in her mouth, and she’s letting it out now, in bites and gasps.
