Summary
A troubled football player from the UK is about to crash out of his career before it even really starts. A university in America doesn't see a problem with that -- RBU is well known for its ability to turn around the fates of those who just need their particular kind of guidance.
Caleb Thomson has been wanting to be a professional football player for as long as he could remember. Finally signed onto a proper team, he finds himself sat in his manager's office being told he was being sent off on loan. Not to another team though. To a university in America. A place where he'll learn about teamwork, being the best version of himself, and that there's more to life than scoring goals.
Hayden Wilkinson is a Junior at RBU, ready to step into the role of AP. But the freshman he finds under his wing very much does not want to be there, and the clash between them sends him spiralling over his abilities. Add in troubles at home that distract him from his schoolwork, and it all has to boil over at some point.
