Summary
The Pale is an ever inscrutable force, pushing against any attempts at clear definition like a prey animal on its last legs. It scurries away from any mind that seeks to conceptualize, offering itself in the barest of echoes on its surroundings. Few are so brave as to travel it and among those who are, none make it out unscathed.
Many think of it as a destructive force, those people are wrong. The Pale does not create nothing, though it can at times be seen as such. It merely.. twists the objects already there. A particularly intuitive person might even prescribe a method to it, though a more sane one would understand the absurdity of such a thought.
Here, there are both, twisted against each other, torn apart to be made whole again in an entirely wrong way.
