Chapter Text
<{ SECTION ONE- I'M GONNA PACK MY THINGS AND LEAVE YOU BEHIND}>
The star grabbed his things- which weren't much really, just a spare turtleneck and jacket. Oh, and his journal. The star was glad to be leaving here, it had never been pleasant wherever here was. Just pain, honestly. This was the place they had woken up how ever many years ago, chained up. Some of the chains were able to be either broken or slipped off, but the ones on his wings remained; almost a permanent reminder, taunting him. But now wasn't the time to reminisce. Terra stood outside Proximia Centauri's cabin, quietly waiting, his hands tucked into the pockets of his baggy grey-ish-black pants. This whole scenario felt odd. Proximia Centauri didn't know for a fact why he was so trusting of this man, but he was nonetheless. As he walked out, his few belongings in his arms, Terra smiled softly; wrapping his arm around the star, and placing his hand on the younger's shoulder. The star tensed up at that, but leaned into the touch. Gods, it had been so long since physical contact, and it felt amazing. The two started walking, Terra guiding Proximia Centauri the entire way.
The walk was silent, the only sound being the absent-minded flapping of the two's wings, but both of them were fine with that.
[( EXCERPT ONE- YOUR SILENCE DEAFENS MORE THAN ANY SOUND )]
After the hell-ish fight that had occurred, and Luna had been plopped in bed, she decided it was due time for a nap. When she had woken up around an hour later, the house was found empty, besides Sol sitting at the kitchen island, drinking a cup of butterfly tea while reading something. When Luna had been noticed, Sol mumbled few words, clearly only half paying attention.
[ "….Terra's out, I believe." ]
Luna hummed in acknowledgment, walking to the fridge to grab a bottle of water; drinking it and letting the cool drink flow down her throat.
( "Noted." )
The kitchen held silence, if only for a bit, both of them decidedly ignoring their previous petty argument.
This peace failed to last long.
<{[( SECTION TWO- I KNOW YOU'RE FEENING FOR UNCERTAINTY, BUT I'M NOT SCARED. }]}>
Proximia Centauri bit his tounge as Terra fiddled with his keys, looking for the right one to unlock the front door. Almost as if sensing the younger's unceartinty, Terra let out a soft chuckle.
< "No need to be afraid mate, they'll love you." >
The star tilted his head at that, gripping his arm, closing in on himself.
{ "…How do you know they will…? You've just met me, haven't you?" }
Having found the right key, Terra unlocked and turned the knob of the door, successfully opening it. Ushering them in and locking the door behind them, he smiled.
< "Trust me, I know those two- they'll love you." >
He placed his arm on Proximia Centauri's shoulder again, leading him to where the voices came from.
The sun and moon had moved to the living room, having a peaceful chat- for once -and both perked up at the sound of Terra having come back. And when he had entered with the smaller star next to him, let's just say it was a surprise.
[ "Brother." ]
< "Yes, Sol?" >
[ "Who is that." ]
( "Sol, don't be rude now. ….But yes, who is that?" )
< "Their name is Proximia Centauri!" >
[ "Fucking what." ]
< "Mhm!" >
[ "Why are they here." ]
< "I thought it'd be nice for them to meet you two?" >
[ "…Good grief, Terra." ]
< "Please?" >
( "I'm for it. Please, Sol? Look at the kid!" )
{ "…i-i'm 19,000,000,000 years old..?" }
[ "And me and Luna are 20,000,000,000. Doesn't matter. Now, do you have a nickname?" ]
{ "…no…?" }
[ "Fuck. Give me an hour. Terra, I'd love to talk to you. Luna, you're watching the kid." ]
