Summary
Fifteen years after the Republic's fall, the Galactic Empire is nearly at the height of its power. In its ever-constant expansion, the Emperor is searching for means by which to create new weapons--weapons not just technological in nature, but weapons which wield the Force. While on one of these searches, a young Imperial officer named Melora Amon goes missing and the Rebellion sends Obi-Wan Kenobi to find her and what information she has on the Emperor's plans. Little does he know that the woman is also being trailed by another man, his lifelong enemy Lord Maul. In his constant efforts to thwart his former master, Maul finds himself having to work alongside Obi-Wan to destroy Melora's findings and escape the ever-threatening madness he battles with. As his grip on his sanity and the Dark Side wanes, he faces a choice: to accept his fate as a fallen Sith or to continue on his path of vengeance into the depths of madness.
