Summary
Haruhi glares at the boy Junko's brought along with her. When he meets her gaze with a glowering scowl, her eyes narrow. "This is Brigade business," she snaps, whirling back to Junko, "and he's not a member of the Brigade! Why did you even bring him?"
Junko places a hand on Haruhi's shoulder and tries to guide her away from the group. (Haruhi does not move.) Then she sighs. "Look, it's summer, and he's back for a few weeks. Can't Yasuke be, like, an honorary Brigade member or something?"
"No! We--"
"He fills a trope we desperately need."
The impudence of interrupting her! Again! Twice in one day! Junko never interrupts her!
Haruhi hates that boy even more.
Except.
"What trope?"
OR: Junko is not a doormat, and if Haruhi doesn't let Yasuke join their summer adventures, she may not show up at all.
