   Summary

   My name is Meredith Mathers, I worked for the Phantomhive family for over ten years but I was let go from their employment a night before Ciel's tenth Birthday. After hearing word what has happened to the family, I traveled back to London to reclaim my old post as the protector of Ciel Phantomhive, the boy whom I love like a son. There has to be a way out of this contract?

This story does not heavily focus on romance but does contain tension between the characters, and warning that this timeline follows the anime about sometime after the Jack the ripper arc.)
