    It's Christmas of 1972 and differently than other years, Elvis Presley is a mess: officially separated, away from his beloved daughter, and following a strict diet of only 600 calories a day to get in shape for the Aloha From Hawaii's TV Special, the star's mood swings are almost out of control, and despite the excitement with the concerts, he feels lost and miserable.

    As if things couldn't get worse, late at night, the phone rings at Graceland's den: it's the foreman of Circle G Ranch, informing that Rising Sun, Elvis' favorite horse, is very sick and probably won't make it.

    Thankfully, someone will come to help the gorgeous palomino, and hopefully, will save Elvis from his own destiny as well.
