    All, I hope the Outlander AO3 crowd can help! I went deep into the outlander rabbit hole a bit back and wound up downloading an original work by one of our incredible creators but I cannot locate it no matter how hard I look.

    The original work is set in some unspecified sword-fighting timeframe.
    It begins with an original female character describing recent events that changed the ruling family/government which led her to disguise herself as a boy to train an elite all-boys training academy. The initial description focuses on her waking up earlier than the other students to bind her breasts and sneak through large open spaces in the palatial training grounds. Her attendance at this academy is motivated by revenge and her own survival.

    I hope someone is familiar with one of our own content creators’ original works that would have begun this way! 🙏
