“Okay. Pomni you can do this!” The small jester says as she paces around in front of Ragatha’s door. “Just knock and ask her out okay. Seriously, why are you so nervous?! I’m pretty sure everyone here is aware of your relationship with Ragatha!”
Taking a deep breath, she raises her hand up to the door and begins to knock. Soon the door opens, “Oh, hey Pomni. What can I do for you?” Pomni just stands there stuttering a bit. “Hey, Ragatha… I was wondering if you would like to go out for a date.” She proceeds to furiously blush. “I was only asking because we’ve built a bond up so why not make it official?”
Ragatha just stares at her before shaking her head in an effort to snap herself out of her shock. “Sorry… uh… yeah… that would be nice.” She nervously replies. “So how about later tonight?” Pomni nods before heading back to the door.
Closing the door behind her. She grabs a nearby pillow and lets out the loudest scream into it before throwing the pillow across the room. “What the %$!# was that?!” She screams. “You made yourself look like an idiot!” She sighs and goes to her dressers to look for some outfits. “All right, let’s see what we have here? They’re all jester outfits in various colors and patterns…” she looks at them in defeat. “Just great.”
Meanwhile in Ragatha’s room, she’s pacing around in her room also in a panic. “Okay Ragatha… calm down! Calm the %$!# down!” She then goes over to her own dresser and begins looking through it. “Now then which of these dresses seems like a nice thing to wear for a date?” She continues looking through various dressers and closets in order to find the perfect dress. She then spots her sewing supplies and an idea begins to form.
A couple hours later Pomni manages to find a non-jester outfit. It appears to be small dress while not too fancy it’ll due compared to the countless other jester outfits she owns. She really needs to ask Caine if he can generate different outfits. After putting it on she exits her room and goes over to Ragatha’s door.
Once again, she raises her hand and knocks on the door a bit. “Just a second.” She hears Ragatha reply on the other end. After a while Ragatha walks out in purple jeans, a black undershirt, and a custom sewn dress purple over shirt. Pomni stares at Ragatha in amazement. “Wow… you look gorgeous…” Ragatha responds with a giggle. “You’re the one to talk. I like your outfit.”
“Thanks, it’s the only one I could find that wasn’t a variation of my usual jesters outfit. Remind me to ask Caine to generate new clothes.”
All of a sudden, Caine appears out of nowhere. “Good evening my Little Lovebirds!” The said lovebirds yelp in surprise. “I couldn’t help but overhear you two planning a night out! So I’m head to offer my services!” He takes off his hat and bows down. “Now if you two follow me. I shall show you to your table.” He gestures the two to follow him.
As the couple walks to the main room of the circus they’re shocked to see the others in various outfits. Jax, Kinger, Zooble, and Gangle were in suits and ties and holding instruments, Bubble was in a chef hat, and somehow Caine changed into a waiters outfit.
“Wow… this is so much.” Pomni mutters in amazement. “How did Caine convince all of you?”
“He didn’t.” An angry Jax replies. “I tried to run but Caine forced me into this. Crybaby was the only one who seemed genuinely interested in this whole thing.”
Caine suddenly snaps his fingers and instruments appear in everyone’s hands. “The orchestra does not speak during the date! So play!”
Sighing, Jax and the other circus members begin to play a tune. Looking at each other, Pomni and Ragatha take a seat across from each other before Caine appears and pours glasses of water for them. “Now here in the circus, because alcohol is not allowed I got you both waters.” He snaps his fingers again and a basket full of breadsticks appears.
“So… Pomni. What made you want to ask me out?”
“Oh. I asked since…” Pomni begins, “you’ve done so much for me since the day I’ve been here. I never had the chance to repay you. Yet I couldn’t think of what to do so… I decided to put it all into one giant thank you date. I know this seems like a lot since we’ve not officially announced our partnership and yet I’m pretty sure it’s obvious to everyone we’re a couple so what’s the point in trying to deny it? Sorry if I’m ranting too much… I just have a lot on my mind.”
Ragatha just looks at her, “Well I just have to say I’m glad you’re doing this and to be honest I find it quite cute when you rant like that.”
Pomni soon begins to get all flustered, “W-what?!”
“I also find it cute when you’re embarrassed. Your eyes turn into little hearts.”
“Oh gosh… how long have you known about this?!”
“Since you told me at the mansion…”
“Excuse me for a second.” Pomni gets up and goes over to a nearby trash can and proceeds to kick it. She goes back to her seat.
“Feeling better?” A concerned yet kind of humored Ragatha asks.
“Yeah…” Pomni replies. Suddenly they both perked up at the sound of romantic music being played. Ragatha gets up, “Want to dance?”
Pomni nods and the two get up and wrap their arms around each other in a poor attempt to dance. They both giggle a bit at their awkward dancing.
