Summary
Andrew traces his finger along the long line of the tendril slung over his thigh, and Neil shivers. It's the last night they have before Andrew's ship heads off to colder waters, and although Neil says that he'll still be here when he gets back, Andrew knows in the pit of his stomach that this is little more than a stolen pocket of time that he would do well to remember is slipping through his fingers faster than sand.
Or, pirate Andrew and octopus-hybrid Neil know they're on borrowed time, and neither of them know if and when Andrew will return to warmer waters. They decide to fuck about it.
