Work Text:
Six added more blue to the canvas and smiled. Nine was busy tonight. She had band practice every Thursday. Sometimes Six would visit him and listen to their shit guitar playing while everyone yelled at them as they fucked up the chords and fumbled to apologize. It was pretty funny. Seven had said she wasn’t allowed to come tonight because she always burst out laughing and further added to the chaotic mess of noise. He probably would’ve come anyways (who would let that pathetic number boss them around?) but he was finishing a painting he’d been working on yesterday. A self portrait. It was something Nine had suggested - probably because wyn knew she’d be giving it to wynn after she was done. He was such a weirdo. He was probably gonna go home and like.. lick the painting or something.
Nine was always really supportive about her art. It would always say something stupid but also sweet about the way the colors or shapes looked when he had finished something and showed it to them. For whatever reason, it seemed to enjoy his company whenever they spent time talking - and as much as they hated to admit it, Six liked hanging out with it too. So he was doing something nice for once. She had all her painting stuff set up outside like normal. It was kind of stupid to do it here rather than at home, but it felt way nicer, and because it was summer, the sun hadn’t gone down yet even though it was sometime around 9pm. A soft breeze was blowing through the grassy space by the Algebra Playground.
They finished adding details and stared at their work. Eh, good enough. She shrugged and began to pack up her painting stuff - brushes shaken, wiped off, and put into a container, easel folded up, water poured into the grass, leaving the blades dripping gross blueish water.
