   Summary

   Yancy is newly released from prison, moving into a small dingy apartment. He finds his new neighbor next door, hurt and drifting in and out of consciousness. Yancy has been to prison so he instantly recognizes what has happened. He’s seen it before. The neighbor has been sexually assaulted. He tends to him, learning that his name is Eric. While he consoles him, he calls 911, but because of his own past, he ends up being a suspect and taken into custody while Eric is taken to the hospital.
