Summary:

For a fleeting moment, Derek freezes. There's no way he can show his true colors to the world. But with Stiles next to him, anything seems possible.

Notes:

From the minute I started working on Acknowledged late last year, I knew I wanted to make a little Pride series for our boys. Flags offer amazingly diverse color palettes, so for this piece, I'm giving a nod toward Pansexual and Panromantic Awareness and Visibility Day (which is today)!

This piece feels like a fresh start since I got to work with colors I normally don't reach for. Yellow was interesting to use with for lineart, but honestly, I love how it looks for Derek. Yellow makes him stand out and look strong (which he is in so many ways!). And of course, I'll always be up for any opportunity to draw Stiles. Glad I had this piece planned out and thrown in my queue into advance, since it'll be a nice transition to start working on a Pride piece for June.

Also, hiii! It has been 7 months since I've last drawn anything digitally or fandom related. RL got busy and complicated real fast, and my creative spark sadly disappeared along the way. After some long needed rest, major life changes and time to be kinder to myself, I recently found ways to reignite that spark. I may be relearning my creative process, but I'm excited to be drawing more again!
