Summary
A lie that became the truth...but still a lie.
June 14, 2013: A ‘memorable’ date—when he realized he’d been lied to his entire life. He was at the age where he could somewhat understand adult conversations. He wasn’t an only child; his brother, Choso, was a couple of years older. Choso knew these lies. He, too, was lying to him.
His mind held onto one thought: “They’ve all been lying to me.” He couldn’t deny the thought—it was painfully true. He lost his joy, the life in his eyes. Any pool of emotion was buried deep—depressingly deep—inside a cardboard box that was not to be opened ever.
He was vague, knowingly so. Perhaps this was just another story where the main character figured their life out.
Ha... he wished. He assured you—it wasn’t.
He didn’t…
